This is the first book my sailor told me to read. His deadline for me to read it was before he left. I was able to do so and loved this book. It crushed me and made me cry, but I still loved it. It’s about a big who only has one more year left to live and decides to keep it a secret and not undergo treatment. Definitely a good read, and it reminds us we never need to go through things alone.

Book into Movie Ideas???

ok so basically I feel like ranting simply because no one is gonna read this so this is my proposal; basically two of my favorite books in the world (besides Speak and Kamikaze Girls) must be KNOWN!!! I really want the book 'Wintergirls' by Laurie Halse Anderson (the women that got me) to be a movie and I want Sofia Coppola to direct it and at first when I read it I instantly thought Dakota fanning should play Lia then I thought no her sister Elle however I kept thinking about the girl who played Rue in HG, Amandla Stenberg, she kept coming in my head so I reread the book (for the 100th time) and that's all I saw I kept seeing her so I believe she is Lia (at least in my head) I feel that it goes in perfectly, as for the other characters however like her friend Cassie I'm not so sure... I must read it again not that it's a bad thing lol Another book that this world must know is by Chris Crutcher titled 'Staying Fat for Sarah Byrnes' this book made me rethink YA and was the second to do so besides my first love 'Speak' I honestly don't know who will play the fierce Sarah Byrnes nor do I know about Eric all I know is that I feel that this is meant for Catherine Hardwicke (she is after all freakin Amazing and Talented!!!!!) she brings this grit or something idk what to call it into her movies that I love and truly feel that it goes perfectly with this book So anyway these are my thoughts and if anyone wants to share or talk about please do these two ideas have been stuck in my head for the longest time that I even considered writing a screenplay however I absolutely hate writing lol. so yaaaa that's my two cents anyone else?? (btw if these things happen I expect movie premiere tickets and royalty checks jk just the premiere and donations to causes that are in relation to the themes in them and autographs ;P Also thankyou Anderson and Crutcher and please read these books!!!!!!!!!!!
