Is there anything better than old scary movies before bed?
The novel Dracula turns 119 years old today! Dracula has been immortalised on film over 200 times. Here are my favorite versions of the Count throughout history.
You can read it here. It has been apart of the public domain since 1962.
The oldest surviving screen adaptation of Dracula was a German film called Nosferatu. If you love classic horror as much as I do, you’ll have a real appreciation for it. It’s also in the public domain and can be viewed here! If you don’t like black and white films, you are in luck! Roger Eggers, who is best known for the horror flick The VVitch is writing and directing a remake as we speak.
