You mention the paintbrush and paint as less important in your theory but what if you're right? Then it's super important since Regina is looking for the maker of the book. Makes sense since the book was pivotal for lifting the dark curse that the dark one would have a hand in it's making. Thoughts? You've got my brain churning. This show is great.
Ahh yes. You are perceptive! I posted that theory about...a week ago? When the Rumbelle fandom found out about Rumple finding the hat and we glossed over Regina's quest. Oops haha. Since then I've come to the same conclusions. I actually posted an amendment to the theory like 20 min ago? I'll paste it below! I am going with the opinion that all of this is tied together. :) I love this show!! Thank you so much for dropping in!
"I have all these thoughts popping into my head! Haha. I’m really really excited so many of you guys liked my previous theory!!
I hope parts of it turn out to be true!!
But then, after watching tonight’s episode and finding out about Regina’s quest, (which is going to include Henry?) I’d like to tack on another thought, to the original one.
I received a couple brilliant messages after the first theory pointing out that with Yen Sid’s ownership of the paint and paintbrush that is used to create new Disney worlds or allows the painters access into already established worlds, he could very well be the author of the book.
I thought that was brilliant which makes me wonder if they’ll blend Regina’s and Rumple’s quests at some point.
Rumple’s after the most powerful sorcerer. Regina wants to change her fate.
I stand by Henry being the “Mickey”, but they find the old super powerful wizard/creator of the book who, with the hat, can allow Henry to use magic and somehow he’ll be the one that redirects Rumple and Regina instead of giving them their “easy fixes”.
Or Henry defeats Maleficent.
I hope that made sense, because in my head it felt break-through-y and like it tied everything together, but who knows, the arcs may stay totally separate.
