It's done!! New fic!! Also, I cannot express enough how much my story is horror themed. The second chapter is better, just be wary of the first chapter.

Had a thought related to Christopher Thorndike the character recently. 

Someone might have said this before. I’ll tag and credit once I find. Otherwise I’m not taking credit for this idea. 

I would have loved if, during the third to last and second to last episode of season two, everything played out as it had: Chris grabs Sonic and runs; everyone’s looking for them; they bond at the cabin. 

BUT 

It all turns out to be a figment of Chris’ imagination. I feel like it wouldn’t be out of the realm of possibility that he’s imaginative, being young and portrayed to be someone who might spend a lot of time by himself. 

That whole scenario plays out in Chris’ head. He sees Sonic getting ready to walk into the portal. And after seeing how things could have been, he chooses to let Sonic go. 

That would have blown my mind if I had seen a saga like that as a kid.

if S06 had been adapted to Sonic X, Chris would steal Elise's role too?

Wouldn’t be surprised if it turned out that way.

If Silver was appeared in Sonic X, Chris would have obsessed with him?

Nah. He’d probably steal Amy’s role (Again) and possibly Shadow’s by stepping in to defend Sonic from him if X did a sort of ‘06 adapt or had a storyline in which Silver goes after him for one reason or another.

In Sonic X, If Shadow had survived and returned to earth, Chris would have had an obsession with Shadow?

Most likely. Knowing him.

He had a fuckin’ obsession with him in the Metarex arc.

Was there at least one little moment where you though thas Christ was done well? Honest question.

“Done well” implies that his schtick (Lonely rich kid) was handled in a good way.

I personally can’t remember a moment when it was.

However, I’m not going to deny that I enjoyed the campfire scene in episode 51….to an extent. Sonic’s willingness to forsake his friends to stick by Chris left an incredibly bitter taste in my mouth though I have heard of a theory that Sonic only said this in order to force Chris to truly commiserate the ramifications of holding onto him was may not have said it as an indication that he had the intention of staying.

Okay Im curious about something, now I know you hate Chris, but lets just say that you had to use him as a main character. Now what would you have done to change him to be more suitable, and likable for you or anyone.

Remove the “poor little rich boy” nonsense. Because one of the many, many blows against Chris was the fact that he had a priviledged upbringing filled with love yet acted like and was treated as if he was the most hard done-by character on the show.

The majority of viewers…don’t sympathise with that and it was almost beyond belief that the people who conceptualized and wrote Chris expected us to connect with the character.
