2010-2017 Schala had a great run, I have a lot of great memories with this costume.  It brought me a lot of joy and allowed me to express creative freedom in bringing a character to life that I’ve always admired. The costume is now mostly retired, though if someone were to ask me very nicely to bring her back one more time, I’d just need enough time to conjure a new wig as this one is trashed. She's done. Schala is finally done and ready for con. All I have left is to clean up the wig a bit. Two years of sporadic work has come to an end and I'm so happy. This is the Schala I always dreamed of making. I finally feel like I'm doing her justice.
