A tip for anyone who has recently migrated back to Tumblr: you can force your dashboard to display new posts from your followees chronologically by going into settings > dashboard and making sure "Best Stuff First" is unchecked~

🧐 check your settings
So, earlier, my desktop dashboard was behaving fucky enough to file a support ticket before doing the clear cache, log out, turn it off and back on again blah blah blah idiot check, and oh look, it's working-ish... pfff, whatever.
Is it just me having some weird glitch or is tumblr no longer showing posts in strict chronological order?
Specifically what I’m seeing is that when I’ve scrolled through, say, five or six pages of my dash (I have pagination turned on instead of infinite-scroll) I find myself on a page of posts that are from much further in the past than seems reasonable. As if it’s showing me the most recent 4 pages of posts from this afternoon, then skipping over this morning’s posts and yesterday’s posts to show me posts from a week ago.
