Struggling with frustration today because the scale hasn’t moved yet and at the beginning of my journey it had moved a little every other day or at least every three days. It’s really bugging me too because I had been losing consistently a pound or two a week when I was being less strict with myself, which doesn’t make much sense to me. But I know this is part of the process, so I’m just going to hang in there and maybe start weighing myself less frequently. I know I’ve been accurate with my measurements because I’ve been using a food scale, so things have to start working eventually, right haha?
I see a lot said about how healthy eating is more expensive than eating out.
Sorry, but in which world?
This one will never make sense to me. I don't accept it and I never will.
It also doesn't take into account added future costs in your lifetime of increased healthcare, medication, tests, time off work.
And what about the other costs to your life now? Missing out on experiences. Feeling down about yourself. Discarding dreams.
If I was to make a financial model for this (and I am paid to do this in real life) I can guarantee the overall scenario of eating out is far more expensive. If I have spare time, I actually should do this one of these days.
Finally popcorn time! Ft. kitty 🥰
