I’m running away with Poppy to join the CIRCUS!!
Not to like, brag or anything but the circus is in town and my boy landed a gig as popcorn vendor for their hungry crowds. It’s a really important job~ And it’s his biggest job yet, so I’m tagging along as his manager to make sure everything goes smoothly.

Bonne Sieste!
I took my French language placement exam yesterday and placed in the 3rd level, out of five. My first class went well. I don’t have any fellow UNH students in my class, but I’ve met lots of people from around the globe, ranging from Taiwan, to Russia, to Ghana, and more. I have French class 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday and class 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM Wednesday and Friday. So far one of my favorite things about France is that their lunch breaks are two hours long, giving you ample time to eat and take a nap. In fact, when our professors stop for lunch they say “bonne sieste!”, which means have a good nap. I think us Americans need to take a page from the French’s book. I would be way more productive at school if napping was a part of our curriculum, too.
It’s hard to make out in the photo, but on my way home from school today I saw a car with a “This car climbed Mt. Washington” bumper sticker on the back. How cool is that?! The world isn’t that big after all.
