It was only this month that I learned Dragonball Super was a thing and that my favorite character way back when made an appearance 😍✨

It’s been AGES since I drew anything Dragonball related. Like. 21 years ago. *grandma emoji*✨

Dragonball Z was instrumental in my drawing journey in that it became a starting point in my drawing masculine (albeit heavily stylized) physiques, since I really got started with Sailormoon (and still the heavily stylized shoujo aesthetic).

So have some quick Trunks sketches since I was curious as to how I can draw him now as opposed to just copying off Toriyama 😛

Week 2 of Inktober 2017! On top of not sticking to this year’s prompts, I’ve decided to approach the challenge by doing something that I can do in an hour or less. I knew coming in that Inktober will require a lot of time and time management on my part as I have other obligations in the day.

My weekends have become busier than my weekdays, so it’s either I do drawings in advance or do some catching up. So far so good. I’m almost halfway through!

My mom had been looking for “baby Voltrons” so what better day than her birthday to sit down and draw our first five Paladins having something sweet for the occasion? Also, I wanted to try out my new brush pens and they’re so much easier and kinder on my clumsy hands (read: not as much ink smudging as the last one.)

For Sketchavember day two! For a bit of context: @pethics and I are fond of thinking about “who would be be who” when smashing canons together. In this case, Arslan Senki and Voltron: Legendary Defender.

In this one: who were the two cinnamon rolls who are tough and smart when it counts? Arslan and Hunk 🤗✨

Also, I just wanted to draw Arslan. But it’s Sketchavember, so let’s try our hand at a young Yellow (not giant robot) Lion, shall we?

Week 3 of Inktober ! I hadn’t been able to post that week since I attended the first Hello Kitty Run in Manila and celebrated my birthday :D

As with the previous week, it’s  mixed bag of whimsy and trying to follow the prompts (eg. “mysterious” Lotor,  and Aang in the clouds).
