What with the Oscars being tonight, here's a reminder how great cinema was in 2012

Lincoln An historical film. Period. Has that greatness, and the right references that make familiar those scenarios and times, where we are driven by excellent performances (one more Oscar for Mr. DD-Lewis, please!). But the focus of this film, the abolition of slavery, was what truly touched my heart: watching the conquer of the most basic principle of every human-being, wich is FREEDOM, was moving! And that’s why this movie was worth my time! ** Um filme histórico. Ponto. Tem essa grandeza, e as referências certas que conferem familiaridade a cenários e tempos distantes, onde somos conduzidos por excelentes interpretações (mais um Óscar para o Sr. DD-Lewis, por favor!). Mas o foco do filme, a abolição da escravatura, foi o que verdadeiramente me tocou: assistir à conquista do principio mais básico do ser-humano, o da LIBERDADE, isso sim foi comovente! E motivo para ter valido a pena assistir!

Sta arrivando a Roma in queste ore Quentin Tarantino, uno dei miei registi preferiti in assoluto, del quale attendiamo tutti con ansia Django Unchained. Parte della genialità di Quentin risiede anche nella sua capacità di assorbire come una spugna da cinema, tv, letteratura per poi rielaborarlo in forme sempre nuove. Io inizio il countdown per la proiezione stampa di stasera, nel frattempo vi lascio con un video geniale di College Humor che ci mostra tutte le citazioni riscontrabili nei film del nostro, legate alla cultura pop.
