Valor Ecclesiasticus is back!
Chapter 3, Clairvaux, is up on AO3., with Illustrations by Duztdevl.
for @cinemaocd on the occasion of her birthday, some favourite swoonsters in jammies or robes or other glorious nightwear <3
@cinemaocd mentioned you on a post “Mark Rylance and Kate Phillips as Thomas Cromwell...”:
@terribleoldwhitemen: Ur tags! EXACTLY! Fuck all Jane/Crom flirtation in the book though she does troll him over the wedding night which I'm still pissed that they didn't include (maybe somehow it will be in the next ep?) but it was a let down for me because it felt like she was building an arc and then dumped it.
right!! I thought perhaps I wasn't smart enough to catch what mantel was doing in regards to dropping that thread completely in MatL, but I was certainly disappointed, especially with the way the miniseries brought it to the fore. extremely excited to see it highlighted again (even if this first episode is all we end up getting).
I saw in the Night Club tag you were going. I am going tonight in MN. So excited, just hoping you had a great night at the show...
Omg fuck yeah! Had such a fucking incredible time, Emily's stage performance in this little punk dive bar was 11/10
Hey bros!! I see a lot of quarantine watchlists bc sudden unexpected events we all know very well :)! And as much as i support the watchlist
WASSUP! HERE'S MY QUARANTINE "IM LOSING IT AND NEED OUTSIDE CONTACT" MOOD LIST!!!
This is for @cinemaocd. It’s super late. It’s the recording I promised.
The dictation proper starts at 3 minutes in, until about 2 minutes to the end. This is 13 minutes long. I had forgotten to set my timer when I started. When I dictate, I usually dictate a little under 100 words per minute. So to get the 300-400 words-ish length I was aiming for I should have been dictating for about 4 minutes--5 minutes top--not 8! I forgot to say thank you for listening at the end of the recording: thank you for listening!
I use recordings as drafts, which I then type. The transcript of the audio is here on ao3. In the ao3 post, you’ll also find the subsequent drafts for this snippet. You can see what the draft looks like and compare it to the final, betaed version. Yes, the draft is bad. It’s a draft!
This is the last post in the “posts about how I write” series. Part 1 is here. Part 2 is here.
