These Cinnamon Swirl Pancake Donuts are a delightful twist on traditional pancakes. They're fluffy, cinnamon-infused, and shaped like donuts, making them a fun breakfast treat for the whole family.
Ingredients: 1 cup all-purpose flour. 2 tablespoons sugar. 1 teaspoon baking powder. 1/2 teaspoon baking soda. 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1/2 cup buttermilk. 1/4 cup milk. 1 large egg. 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. For Cinnamon Swirl Filling:. 1/4 cup brown sugar. 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon. 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted.
Instructions: Set the temperature of your oven or donut maker to 350F 180C. Combine the flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, ground cinnamon, and salt in a sizable mixing bowl. Melted butter, milk, egg, buttermilk, and vanilla extract should all be combined in a different bowl. Mixing until just combined, pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. For the cinnamon swirl filling, combine the melted butter, ground cinnamon, and brown sugar in a small bowl. Transfer half of the pancake mixture to your donut pan or maker using a spoon. Top each donut with a tiny bit of the cinnamon swirl filling. Make sure the filling is well covered by covering with the remaining pancake batter. Bake the donuts for 8 to 10 minutes, or until they are cooked through and golden brown, after closing the donut maker or putting the donut pan in the oven. Take out of the oven or donut maker and allow to cool for a short while. Optional: Before serving, dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with icing. Savor your homemade donuts with a cinnamon swirl!
