On a lazy fall weekend, let the warm, sweet smell of cinnamon pecans fill your home. It's simple to make these slow cooker cinnamon pecans, and they're great for snacking or giving as a gift.
Ingredients: 4 cups pecan halves. 1/2 cup granulated sugar. 1/2 cup brown sugar. 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1 egg white. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
Instructions: In a bowl, mix together granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. In another bowl, whisk egg white and vanilla extract until frothy. Add pecans to the egg white mixture and toss until coated. Sprinkle the sugar mixture over the pecans and toss to coat evenly. Transfer the coated pecans to a slow cooker lined with parchment paper. Cook on low for 3-4 hours, stirring every hour. Once done, spread the pecans on a baking sheet to cool. Store in an airtight container once completely cooled.
