Slack Tide Brewing Sand Spike Session IPA (Picked up at Circle Liquor in Somers Point, NJ). A 2 of 4. Even for a session IPA, this is very light on the palate with just a faint touch of some tropical and citrus fruit in the nose. Drinks easily, as expected.
Industrial Arts Wrench Hazy IPA (Picked up at Circle Liquor in Somers Point, NJ). A 3 of 4. A really good and solid hazy IPA with quite a lot of pineapple and citrus and other tropical fruit. The body is hefty but not overly so, and has a bit of nice juiciness to it, with the fruit lingering on your palate.
Tired Hands DDH Technicolor Splendor Double IPA (Picked up at Circle Liquor in Somers Point, NJ). A 4 of 4. Just bursting with bright orange citrus and tropical fruit, and the body has a really nice softness to it. Carries the juiciness quite well, and just has this sense of refinement -- everything works well together.
Montauk Wave Chaser IPA (Picked up at Circle Liquor in Somers Point, NJ). A 2 of 4. Smells relatively normal of citrus and pine, but the body is incredibly thick and heavy -- not sure if this is a quality control issue, given I wasn't expecting a hazy. Still, it's drinkable, and the relatively firm bitterness in the finish helps.
Evil Twin + Trillium Chopping Wood Double IPA (Picked up at Circle Liquor in Somers Point, NJ). A 4 of 4. Incredibly bright hop nose on this with tons of berries, tropical fruit, stone fruit, and a touch of pine. Creamy body with a medium bitterness in the finish. Well-balanced and quite incredible.
The Ridge NE Style IPA (Picked up at Circle Liquor in Somers Point, NJ). A 3 of 4. A really nice hazy IPA that has quite a bit of orange citrus and some fainter tropical fruit behind it in the nose. The body is quite creamy and sticky, and a bit juicy, as you might expect.
Ludlam Island Brewery Water Guns and Rainbows IPA (Picked up at Circle Liquor in Somers Point, NJ). A 3 of 4. Smells of bright orange citrus and some fainter tropical fruit in the background. Maybe even a bit of herbal/resinous qualities in the body behind the fruity sweetness up front. Not the most complex thing ever, but really features citra quite nicely.
Kane Brewing Party Wave IPA (Picked up at Circle Liquor in Somers Point, NJ). A 4 of 4. On the fence about rating this one -- not the most complex thing ever, but just an exceptional hazy and juicy IPA. Lots of bright hop notes in the nose, a body that has just the right level of creaminess, and a finish that lingers with some excellent fruity notes alongside the bitterness.
