New Archetype "Metaphys" in Circuit Break Metaphys Ragnarok Light Wyrm / Tuner / Effect LV4 1500/1000 You can only use each of this card name’s effects once per turn. (1) If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can banish 3 cards from the top of your Deck, and if you do, this card gains 300 ATK for each “Metaphys” card banished by this effect. (2) When this card inflicts battle damage to your opponent: You can Special Summon 1 Level 5 or higher “Metaphys” monster from your Deck, and if you do, banish it during the End Phase of next turn. Metaphys Tyrant Dragon Light Wyrm / Effect LV8 2900/2500 (1) If this card was Special Summoned by a “Metaphys” monster’s effect, it is unaffected by Trap Effects, and if it attacks a monster, it can make a second attack in a row. “Okay, can it wait an hour or two? I’ve been waiting half a century for a modern shower. Do you have a toothbrush?”

He looked torn for a moment before he shook his head. “Best to tell you now. To get it out of the way.”

That did not sound promising.

“Perhaps I’ll be more receptive if I’m clean and comfortable,” she said delicately, and he pressed another soft kiss to the top of her head.

“Fair enough.”

“All right. Is it the same bedroom?”

He nodded, taking her hand and leading her up the stairs to the same room they’d shared in the 1800s. “I’ve remodeled the house,” he said as he opened the door for her.

“I can see that,” she said, taking in marble counters and the large tub that was built into the floor, a floor-to-ceiling glass divider separating it from the large shower.

She peeled off her chemise and turned on all three of the showerheads, the water heating quickly, and stepped under the spray. Klaus gave a hum of appreciation, and she turned to face him, reaching up to massage the water into her hair as she fought down a smile. “Stop looking at me like that. I’m covered in dirt and grease and it’s not attractive. I probably smell terrible, too.”

“You know very well that I don’t care about that, Caroline. Would you like some help washing?”
