The Boy Next World (Official Trailer)
Does anybody else imagine Cir possibly losing his temper with Phu and maybe yelling at him or something and Phu just pauses for a minute and then suddenly starts examining Cir’s forehead. And Cir is like “what are you doing?” And Phu is just like “seeing if your scar is gone because I know MY Cir wouldn’t be yelling at me like that so you must have suddenly switched places with one of the asshole versions!” And Cir is promptly apologetic and right back to worshiping the ground Phu walks on, whatever made him yell is a forgotten memory.
Or are you guys normal about them???
The Boy Next World | Episode 2
Mr. Angel, can I please have an umbrella fall right in front of me? I promise I will return it to the exact spot when I am done.
Boy Next World Excerpt: Cirrus and Phukan's First Bareback
Timeline Note: This takes place after Phukan's confrontation with Lukprae (for the show, this happened in ep 9)
"Hey," Phukan called softly, hugging Cirrus' neck.
"Hmm, what is it?" Cirrus responded gently, holding Phukan's waist firmly.
"Can you hug me?"
The listener looked surprised and then spoke sternly.
"You're still hurt."
That was enough for Phukan to know that what he had in mind wouldn't happen. So, he pushed himself off the broad lap.
"Phu... Hey, Phu!"
The first time, Cirrus called out in worry that Phukan might be upset, but the next time was in shock at what Phukan was about to do.
The small figure knelt on the carpet, hands moving to unbuckle Cirrus' belt, his pink tongue peeking out at the corner of his mouth, eyes focused on the prominent bulge visible through the dark underwear.
"If you don't do me, then I'll do you."
So scary. Let's not watch it. [...] If I tell you that I'm your lover from a parallel universe, will you believe it?

The Boy Next World - Episode 7
I really felt sorry for both Phu and Cir in this episode.
Phu has fallen in love with Cir but thinks he shouldn’t because as far as he knows, Cir belongs to another Phu. He’s fallen for the man who cares for him, protects him and cherishes him but always, at the back of his mind are the thoughts that Cir is only doing this because he looks like his Phu from the other world. Since Phu is a good person, he’d rather sacrifice his happiness and break his own heart than have the other (non-existent) Phu be the one suffering.
As for Cir, he has had the truth eating him up for so long now. The longer he has been around Phu, falling for him even more, and seeing Phu develop feelings for him, the harder it has gotten for him to admit he lied to Phu about the parallel world. He’s fully knows now that it’s going to hurt Phu when he tells him but he couldn’t pluck up the courage to do it. However, once he thought he would lose Phu, he knew he needed to own up but Phu couldn’t hear it because he wasn’t ready, and walked away before Cir could be honest.
This episode did a good job at highlighting that grief has no time limit. We can move on and live our lives but there will always be times where our grief overwhelms us.
One of the guys said they hit the wrong person about Cir so were they trying to hit Phu to get him out of Cir’s life, either by killing him or scaring Cir that he left Phu rather than risk him getting hurt again?
Wim and Jin’s date was as enjoyable as I thought it would be. Wim’s thoughts are brilliant and it’s comical watching Jin be privy to them, still find him adorable/attractive whilst he enjoys his little inside joke of knowing exactly what is on his mind.
Donut portrayed Wim’s confusion with the kiss really well. You could see the “what the hell?” thoughts on his face as Jin kissed him only for the confusion to set in as he got to grips with how his body reacted to it. Once again, I’m looking forward to seeing what happens next between these two.
Aside from the fiancée storyline, I’m really interested to see how next week’s episode unfolds with Cir’s memory loss, although I hope it’s not dragged on too long since there’s only a few episodes left.
