Me and Annon decided on the Greenland Arctic Shark as they are the longest living vertebrate - around 400, maybe about 500 years: The transparent tissue in the shark´s eye lens is metabolically inactive cells that add new layers throughout the shark's lifetime, much like the rings of a tree.

Since Tolkien said Cirdan had a beard becouse he was so old - meaning that all elvers can grow beard if they´re old enough - I desdeid to give him some more body hair as a treat

I wanted to do this since a while already... mostly because I don't want to lose track of Nesti's kids (at least those that HE hasn't lost track of >_> ) And since Ashee is the only one who knows of Willowwood that follows my tumblr, I can put this here in case I need to look something up >_>

So yes, random Elf and his wife got Dragonblood from Leviathan, thus becoming the first and second Sídhe... being the ancestors of a whole race... some hundred years Leviathan made sure their kids could find mates to have new kids with, thus ruling out incest... Some thousand years later: Direct bloodline noble Sídhe family "Ciryatan" aaand after some generations... Nostarion IV. ("of noble birth") and Seldirima ("desired child"), daughter of Melardhoniel ("world love")... Nestaron's parents and grandmother respectively... Naracion is in brackets because I can't get Ashee to make him canon ;_; Nesti's younger sibling is most likely going to be a girl.

Nestaron's first child is the little Amdir that he adopted relatively early in Arduni due to the rat-plague... though he rather considers him a little brother

And THEN we have his firstborn... Silas and his daughter... whom I have some names in mind already but need to talk with Ashee. (And yes, he and Patricia were probably eloped and she DOES have a family name... Malisera...

Let's not talk about how Nara happened...

Then there was Mahtan's mum, who finally has a name now... Sanuye ("red clouds coming at sundown")

These are somewhat official... then there is Sirina (Syrena? Sirena?) who might be FWBs on Firkraag's volcano with Nesti which might result in Gaerion (mix of gaearon "Ocean" and ion "son"... aptly named child is kinda aptly named)

And now lets not even start with Leviathan because that is a compleeeetely different chapter of this story...

Also Mahtan,... those branches are there on purpose. Daddy demands grandchildren! You're the most likely one to 'acquire' them first! But yes... I still need names for at least 2 kids, and maybe some on the Ciryatan grandparental side...

Some of the symbols are official genealogy stuff, others aren't ^^°
