In June, there was apparently an immersive video installation in Soho called “It’s Not All Sunshine & Rainbows,” which highlights the increase in hate crimes against LGBTQIA+ people during Pride season.

David Tennant is one of the people lending his voice to the video campaign. I believe he is the only person in the video who isn’t an (out) LGBT+ person 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

There have been several successful sex strikes throughout history that don't involve a fictional greek comedy you white-centric morons.

Further a sex strike doesn't have to mean NO sex, you cishetnormative fools.

As an asexual trans man I find it infuriating how this is a perfect example of how allies will pretend they understand until the time comes where it proves they do not. So let me spell some shit out for the numbdumbs out there:

1- A strike is a choice which is the whole point of pro-CHOICE. Obviously in any striking situation there are ppl who simply cannot participate & they should be understood & supported - & that's why it's that much more important for those who CAN to do what they can

2- a sex strike in the situation of the abortion ban would be denying sex to cis men. In case you forgot you can obtain sexual pleasure in MANY OTHER WAYS. Whether by yourself or with any of the several other people who are not cis men.

3- so many defer to fictional Lystrata without acknowledging the numerous & successful sex strikes throughout history

4- DID I MENTION IT IS A CHOICE. JUST LIKE YOUR CHOICE TO SHIT ON A VIABLE IDEA

5- It does not in fact play into patriarchy to choose not to have sex with men bc men are not the sole experience of pleasure.

6- Have you never masturbated in your life? I find that far more sad than someone who is a "virgin".

7- sex is not a necessity, it is a privilege. Where they take our rights, take their privilege.
