This postcard was created for Reuben Garnett's orange grove, started in 1883 in St. Augustine. The Garnetts touted it as the oldest operating Orange Grove and by the 1920's it became a tourist attraction and stayed so through 1950;s, until it was finally plowed under to make way for a hotel, grocery store, and gas station in the early 60’s. But in it’s hayday it was quite the place, selling and shipping Oranges and citrus gifts for tourist.
