Macerata (Marche). Torre civica o torre dei tempi (1492). Civic Tower or Tower of the Times (1492). It is 64 meters high. On the base there is the reconstruction of the astronomical clock with automata, similar to that of Venice, built in 1569 by the Ranieri brothers of Reggio Emilia. The clock is back on the civic tower in 2015, after 133 years, in the faithful historical reconstruction of the mechanism of the ancient watch of the Ranieri brothers, realized by the master Alberto Gorla with the scientific collaboration of the Museo Galileo of Florence and Opera Laboratori Fiorentini for the ornamental part.
