20 Questions Tag Game: Writer’s Edition

So I was tagged by @boneandfur and it took me a moment to generate my response. Thanks for the tag! ❤️

1. When/what age did you start writing?

Sometime in high school I think. Just little things here and there. It wasn’t until I joined this fandom that I’ve actually felt motivated to write more and to actually share some fics.

2. What inspired you to start?

I’m not sure what inspired writing overall.

3. Where and when does inspiration usually strike you?

Any place and anywhere an idea can come into my mind and I’ll have to quickly jot down a note so I can eventually go write the story.

4. Where and when do you usually write? Morning? Late at night? On the bus? In bed?

Anytime the mood strikes and I’m in a place to be able to focus.

5. Do you listen to music while writing? If so what genre/playlist?

Nope. I’d get distracted.

6. What category do you like best? Angst? Fluff? NSFW? Other?

Most of my fics are Mature or NSFW, but I wouldn’t say that’s what I like best. I try to just see where the story takes me. I do enjoy many categories of fics.

7. What category do you find most challenging to write?

I think at any given time, any category can present a challenge to write.

8. If you had to pick your favorite Choices book, which one would it be and why?

This is very tough, but it would be between It Lives in the Woods and Veil of Secrets. I really like the mystery elements in both.

9. If Choices LI’s were real, which one (and only one) would you personally want to be with?

Flynn O’Malley has won me over at the moment lol

10. Do you share any physical characteristics with your Choices MCs? Pics/selfies optional 😊

Nope

11. Which MC do you share the most personality traits with?

My AME MC since I like to make thotty comments all the time lol

12. Which Choices character do you feel you have the best grasp in terms of personality?

Chadley Fortnum. Moreso cuz he’s fun to write for by trying to think of ways he would misunderstand things lol

13. What’s your favorite Choices pairing to write for?

Chadley and Finn Wildfire since there really wasn’t much story that Finn was in, I was able to be a little more free.

14. What is a pairing(s) you hope to start writing for?

I’m not entirely sure yet. I have several crack pairings in my mind.

15. What do you hope to improve in your writing?

I want to improve descriptions for both setting and emotion.

16. Any pet peeves related to writing?

Not really.

17. Are you inspired by any IRL experiences when you write? Care to share?

I think most writers pull from their real life experiences to some extent. Some of the things I’ve written for Finn with his crushing on a friend scratched the surface of my own experiences. His will turn our happier though lol

18. Is there any particular piece of work you consider to be your ultimate writing goal? Something so amazing you hope to one day be up to that standard?

I try not to compare myself too much to others. There are other fic writers on here that I’m inspired by their grasp of story telling, but writing as a medium gives you freedom to do your own thing in your own style really.

19. Did/do you write for any other fandoms? If so, which ones?

Nope.

20. In your spare time (when you’re not writing) what other hobbies do you pursue?

The usual: hang with friends, watch movies, stuff like that.
