fucking phoe. that might sound like an insult, but it’s actually a compliment. it’s like a “fucking --” that means “holy shit i love this person more than p much anything on earth.” i’ve known phoe for like... three years now, i think. not only do i always have the friggin best convos with her (our partners can tell when we’re talking to each other bc we laugh hysterically and type aggressively, apparently, lol), but she’s so effing supportive and amazing and i just cherish our friendship so goddamned much. when i’m down, phoe picks me up. when i’m hyper, phoe is ridiculous with me. when i’m angry about something, phoe is angry with me. i get to see her in a month and I’M SO FRIGGIN EXCITED ABOUT THAT. 

now let’s talk about the way she writes. one of the hardest things to capture in writing is character voice. i don’t mean just dialogue. i mean the way the character perceives and interacts with the world around them. voice is hard. agents and editors will tell you it is one of the hardest things about writing and also the most prized skill, because it’s what defines the character and brings them to life. it also can’t be taught. you either know how to grasp character voice, or you don’t. you can’t edit it into existence. phoe has a billion characters too, and every. single. one. has distinct, identifiable voice. i literally don’t know how she does it. but you could take a section of writing from each of her characters that didn’t have character names and put them side by side and i’d be able to tell you which one was which. she’s that good. she has an incredible grasp of story and motivation and her writing is just beautiful. beautiful. i sometimes lay in bed and just re-read threads because i love it so much. and my god, can that woman angst. she’s my partner in feelsy crime and we hurt each other so much but it’s so amazing and writing with her is literally one of my favoritest things ever to do. 

she’s one of these people i honestly can’t find words to explain how much i love. i’m just so happy she’s in my life and if you don’t like phoe you’re wrong and i will cut you. THE END. MYSTICAL INDIAN.

oh my god. where do i even start? first of all, i adore caitlyn as a human being. she’s brilliant, hysterical, and a really amazing friend. like i’m really, really, really glad she’s in my life; i love talking to her whether it’s about something serious or we’re derping around or just rolling around in feels. secondly, p much every character she writes is fucking golden. she has such an incredible ability to put depth and voice and complexity into every single one (and she has a million bc she’s also a crazy person i LOVE YOU AND YOUR TEN THOUSAND BLOGS CAITLYN). even the chars from fandoms i don’t know, i wanna write with them bc they are just all amazing. and her steve... dfhl;adfh;agh;aoh;a i need to find a way to translate keyboard smash into english bc that’s my actual emotion about her steve. there’s that complexity and depth i was talking about, and she puts so. much. thought. in to why he is the way he is, why he does what he does, why he feels certain things. it comes across in her writing--which is always fucking beautiful. there’s a rhythm and a flow to it, and it just sucks you in. she causes me so much pain with her stupid beautiful words and stupid beautiful steve and i just keep coming back for more bc it’s p much the air i breathe at this point. i literally can’t find the words to express how great i think she is with steve--i have to restrain myself (a little, lol) from being like CAITLYN LOVE ME because our threads not only make me ridic happy but really inspire me to write bucky in general and strive to meet her level of perfection. plus, i joke about this a lot, but it’s really because of the richness of her portrayal that i started shipping stucky.  I JUST REALLY LOVE CAITLYN A LOT AND I’M SUPER HAPPY WE’RE FRIENDS AND I THINK SHE’S A SERIOUSLY TALENTED PERSON AND I JUST WANT ALL THE THINGS WITH HER OKAY THE END
