Oops! Broke the game!

I didn't do any Clan Creator when I was first in Onomichi. Then, when I got to Kamurocho, I did a bunch. Now I'm back in Onomichi catching up.

And I'm in a cutscene where Naito is taunting us after beating Yano.

Except I already beat Naito. When I was in Kamurocho. So he's already on my team.

I guess I missed when I battled him that he knows Kiryu's Kiryu.

There's a tactical battle game???

So many storylines in this series rely on one character ruining another character by taking all their money and possessions. And. Like.

This kind of thing would set of so many money laundering alarms. It's also like the definition of wire fraud.

"Oh! Hey, Pocket Circuit Fighter! It's been years since I last saw you!"

"Let me see. Genta-kun? Is that you? What have you been up to?"

"You know how it goes. I joined up with this real estate company, and now they have us out in the streets, beating up people and smashing our competitor's stuff."

"Shame."

"Pocket Circuit Fighter, is that a bazooka?"

"As the song goes, 'Rise up in Revolution'. Majima Construction now, Majima Construction tomorrow, Majima Construction forever."

I acknowledge that this is probably partially biased by the fact that I left it alone while I played the entire rest of the game, and so was able to come back with seventy million yen to upgrade and boost everything, but Clan Creator is better than I remembered.

Put the Rocket Man (Florist of Sai) in the middle of the field so he can rocket everybody. Put a Majima or two out front to take point. Put Ako and Daigo on flanks. Kashiwagi and Kiryu on defense, and then scatter everybody else where ever the defense looks bad. Then flip between characters with R1/L1, boosting anyone who looks injured. I did kind of pre-emptively boost people who were up front, but this worked well. Have Ono Michio on hand to do global heals, and just before the end stage, have Florist heal the construction stuff.

Clan Creator is much easier with the DLC stuff.

And even though you can have two Majimas on your team, only one Majima appears in the victory cut scenes. Top performers:

Ono Michio. Healing is essential to win.

Florist of Sai. Does. Not. Fuck. Around. Rocket launcher and base healing? If team healing wasn't so essential, he'd be the top.

Ako. Has bat, will smash. Probably the most effective attacker after the Florist. She does take a lot of damage, so, again, healing is essential to win.

Literally everybody else. Maybe there are other stand-out characters in my pile of level 1 characters, but no one else even comes close to these three.
