Was anyone going to remind me how Gotta Get Thru This by Daniel Bedingfield fucks severely? Or did I have to hear it over the grocery store radio and get nostalgic whiplash all by myself?

My god, the man perfected the desperation and feral YEARNING. 10 year old me was obsessed with this song.

And because of the yearning and my love of old man yaoi, this song is giving me intense Thunderscience feels. If it knocks my writer’s block away, I might cry. I really want to get back into writing my AOU AU. Sadly I lost all my progress years back when I lost access to my Word account, which definitely soured me. Plus I’ve been battling all forms of health and brain demons and life shit, so I haven’t had the time or energy to start again. But I’m sorely tempted.

But this song’s yearning can transcend fandoms. I feel like it would also work really well for Destiel and Blackbonnet.

my dreams last night ranged from "take care of these two children you now live with and make sure they don't die" to "fight yourself through a warzone and make sure you don't die"; and I'm honestly pretty glad these were two separate dreams. :')
