what did their parents do?
Clara, TV host of 'Imp City Gossip' and Clementine's biological mother:
-Used her infant daughter to gain sympathy for people to help her leave Lust. -Frequently left Clementine alone while out with others. -Abandoned the 4 year old Clementine in a drug den to be raised by two sinners and a hellhound, which lead to Clementine's forced employment with the underground crime ring ran by Toby. -Ignores the fact she has a daughter unless her daughter is associating with someone who'd bring in a great story for her show.
Gillian, CEO of 'Mass Market Advertising' based in Greed and Gritt and Patch's biological mother:
-Cheated on her husband Peckrin to get pregnant with the twins and never admitted to it. -Put the most pressure on Gritt being the fully able bodied son. -Neither Gillian or Peckrin would buy Patch legs as he had a working wheelchair, so Gritt made him some. -Got in screaming matches with her husband, in which both would yell, go fuck someone else and then come back and forgive each other... and did this in front of their kids. -Controlled the twins diet, friends, education with an iron fist. -Belittled the twins intelligence, personality and bodies. -Arranged 8 year old Gritt to be married to another family's child when he eventually reaches 18. -Beat, screamed and/or locked the children in the cellar when they did something the parents didn't like. -Love bombed the children whenever they did something they did like. -Kicked out 12 year old Patch and disowned him when it was found out he was homosexual. -Told Gritt he was going to get corrective surgery to get rid of his 'abnormality' (as Gritt is intersex) and it is non negotiable. -When Gritt finally pushed back at 14, they broke his horns to teach him a lesson and he locked him in the cellar. Gritt managed to escape and ran away becoming homeless. -Constantly try and get back in Gritt's life even though he doesn't want them near him.
