 Key Terms

Ø (Ns) – Neutral Stimulus – Prior to conditioning, a stimulus would evoke no response.

Ø (UCS) – Unconditioned Stimulus – A stimulus which produces a response prior to conditioning

Ø (CS) – Conditioned Stimulus - Post (UCS) + NS) the neutral stimulus is now the CS

Ø (UCR) – Unconditioned Response – An unlearned response elicited by an UCS

Ø (CR) –  Conditioned Response - A learned response to a conditioned stimulus.

Association – A connection between two events which results in learning

  Main Elements in Classical Conditioning

·       Extinction – When a CR is no longer reinforced by the unconditioned stimulus, The CR will cease to exist

·       Stimulus Generalization – When an organism has been conditioned to respond to a stimulus, it will respond to a similar stimulus

·       Stimulus Discrimination – When an organism has been conditioned to respond to a stimulus, but detects a difference in stimuli and doesn’t respond.

·       Spontaneous Recovery – The reappearance of a CR after extinction and a rest period

I commented on Twitter but dunno if on here. I think sex addiction and porn addiction is a reflex. I think that's what shrinks have been saying all along. Violence might be a reflex as well. Be careful what you put in your mind. Computer programmers know what garbage in, garbage out as well. And i saw in law and order special victims unit that rape victims involuntarily orgasm by reflex and then googled this to see if true and it is. Not only that but it's true of men. I am writing this because someone DMd me a porn link via link tree. It reminds me of psychology experiments with rats and drugs. They push a button to get a drug and stop eating and even stop having sex. That's porn and for some they'll get addicted to sex. The really twisted people get into human trafficking, rape, and exposing themselves/groping. I've seen porn plenty of times, and sex in movies and I'll tell you that religion is wise to avoid that stuff. I'm not on the registry nor have i committed sex crimes but I've found myself being shallow and awkward and even joking inappropriately with good intentions. It can affect a young, innocent mind and if you're combining that with marijuana or other drugs and maybe alcohol, it might fuck up your inhibitions to a criminal level.
