Going to be posting my ClayFace Au on Ao3. The story will be heavily based around Basil Karlo’s impact on the city of Gotham; how he was one of the very few big names that turned out right…Until not. It will also deal with heavy racism and how it has affected Basil and his career.

Once I’ve got the first chapter up, I’ll be sure to post the link on here!

I’ll start tagging the name of the Au whenever I speak of it / draw stuff for it! I’ve even started a discord server for people who want to learn more about my version of ClayFace and his storyline…But I’m still iffy on sharing it right now since it’s pretty empty (I’m just procrastinating on putting all the written information in the channels)…

My rendition of Basil is also heavily based off of Caped Crusaders design. It’s a shame they didn’t make him brown. I’m sure I sound like a broken record, but they had the perfect opportunity to do so. He is the perfect design for a character based off Boris Karloff. They didn’t such a good job having resemblance, yet still like his own man…But god!!! Why is he white!?? Therefore, I do not have much sympathy for practically taking their design…Not I think my Basil would look much different anyways, since he too is based off Boris’ face. Other than looks, my Basil’s storyline is much different! And his shape shifting abilities will be used more as tactic—But he will become more powerful over time!

Also, I’m thinking of making his love interest The Penguin (and my Penguin will have a resemblance to the Gotham series)! If anyone is interested in the ClayBird ship…Yes, I’m making this a thing….
