June 1st belongs to them 🙏 happy CA wedding

So in Japan (and the west), they sort of have this honorary tradition where June is all about weddings and it’s called “June Bride” (don’t ask, it’s an imported custom that the west introduced to them). Anyway,  FF Brigade released an event titled “ 想いを胸に “ (the song “Dear to the Heart”) in which we see Aerith and Cloud as the highlight characters released. Cloud is the groom ( 花婿 ) and Aerith is the bride ( 花嫁 ). They are released as a set. Just like they were when they were made Emperor and Empress.

Aerith is wearing a breathtaking and timeless gown reminiscent to Grace Kelly’s famous wedding gown. With an A-line silhouette, high neck, sweetheart neckline, and long sleeves made of lace (with little flowers and hearts near the hemline) it’s hard to distinguish her from a princess!  With veils being a symbolism of purity, it makes sense that our beautiful Cetra is wearing one! Hers is a very unique shoulder length veil with what seems to be a crown of white flowers on each side of her face, giving it a very earthy and elegant touch which Aerith is well known for. 

In the video for this event, (I can’t post it right now until my penpal says I can) Cloud races towards the ceremony on an airship with a few other male characters (I guess they were having a bachelor party lol) and after you win the battle, you see short video of Aerith at the outside ceremony and she tosses her bouquet. 

We can now all say a big congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Strife!!

Cloud proposing to Aerith or literally taking her hand in marriage during vow ceremony, or maybe asking for a bride & groom dance? IDK, y’all. I feel like this is a dream I can’t even properly function right now, my minds all over the place from pure joy... it’s just amazing and I’m so thankful that we have something like this.

Sources: @pluvia_ca & 2 | @krudears doctored the last image herself BTW, so although both images are real and part of the same cutscene, they weren’t seen on screen at the same time. You saw Cloud kneel then the screen faded and then you saw Aerith make her adorable “squee” face.

Japanese penpal just told us that when you roll and win a Bride Aerith in the gashapon, you get a  exchange point for Groom Cloud. No matter how many times you roll Bride Tifa, she never rewards you the exchange point necessary for obtaining Groom Cloud. 

Without Bride Aerith YOU CANNOT EARN GROOM CLOUD.

So this is definitely 100% clerith!
