CLINT DAVIDSON
Pregnant.
Pairing : Clint (oc) x Reader.
Word count : 1515
Warnings : Unplanned pregnancy. a little awkwardness.
Request : This was another fun request from @sorenmarie87.
“Shit.” you muttered, head going back and eyes shut. “How the fuck will I tell him..”
That night almost two months ago was hazy. Your best friend Laura was going away for a few months abroad, so there had been a going away party. A party during which you drank too much and slept with her twin brother. And slept with him again the next morning before heading home.
Being around Clint got awkward after that. You couldn't talk to him about it sober. And when you tried drinking, you'd find yourself in bed with him again. Bodies moving together beautifully, but the topic of discussion long forgotten until the morning when the awkwardness and the hangover were in full effect.
But there was no avoiding it anymore.
Grabbing your keys, you tucked the stick in your hoodie pocket and left the house.
Respond and React New Works by Clint Davidson
Clint Davidson, Assemblage with Black and Blue No.1, 2017, Collage/Mixed Media on Panel, 18” x 24”
Clint Davidson’s body of work focuses on paintings with no preconceived image in mind. Traditionally, this method of painting would be called “Non Objective”. Davidson embraces this process and lets it guide and inform the decisions he makes. The title “Respond and React” reflects in a concise way the process in which this work was made. Typically starting with one color painted over the entire surface, Davidson responds to the clean field of color with marks or collaged shapes. From this point, it becomes a series of “response” or “reaction” to previous decisions made in an effort to build a relationship between materials, colors, marks, activity, and inactivity. The ultimate objective is to make a well designed and dynamic final image that was built from the process of response and reaction. When working in this manner the materials, marks, colors, and the relationships between these elements become the subject matter.
There are recognizable elements such as bits of typography and graffiti marks which allude to Davidson’s other interests in the vast world of contemporary art. Davidson takes these elements and changes the traditional context of them to suit his needs. By using these elements as subject matter and giving them new purpose, he achieves a stylized and distinct visual language that is specific to him and his story as an artist.

Part 31 in Deadly Secrets.
By the time you got out from behind the bar, Laura was out the door, the girls father quickly passing her. “Carl, help with the bar.” you told him as you ran for the door.
“Y/N!” Jack called out.
“I'll call you!” you told him, shoving the door open. “I need to be there for Laura!” And with that, you were gone and Lyle was hot on your tail.
Jack sighed as the door shut behind you both. “So.. what were you two doing in the back room?” Carl wiggled his eyebrows.
“Fuck off, Carl.” Jack grumbled.
“Oh shit, you got rejected!” Jack shot him with a glare that could kill. “Guess her and Clint are getting serious. Or is it the blonde? They were looking pretty close before..”
“Get out of my bar.”
You said no.

Part 30 in Deadly Secrets.
Laura had joined you in the bar not long after your talk with Lyle. She was still visibly upset, but holding it together. “Clint’s out with your brother.” She told you quietly. “He came by looking for you just after you left. Most everyone is looking close by, but.. They said they’d go check down by the creek, the one that runs to the next town?”
“Planning to follow it and see if anyone over there saw her?”
She nodded, looking down. “Yeah.” She breathed out. “And it’s the best place to- to dump-”
“Hey.” You hooked her chin and made her look up at you. “You need to keep up hope, Laura. Her dad stopped in, he’s right over there.” You pointed to a back booth. “If he sees you’ve lost hope, it’s gonna crush him.” You gave her a soft smile, knowing she’d be more likely to hold it together for someone else.
“Yeah.” She sniffled and wiped off her cheeks with a nod. “You’re right. I-I need to stay hopeful, for them.”
You’re a dog!

Part 29 in Deadly Secrets.
You woke up cuddled up to Clint’s back, softly groaning as you shifted and rolled to face the other way. “What is that noise?”
“Sounds like Laura.” Clint grumbled and stretched. You let out a soft moan when he rolled and wrapped himself around you. “Get back to sleep. I’m not letting you out of this bed until I have to.”
You chuckled softly, letting yourself drift off again, until Laura’s frantic voice hit you. Your eyes snapped open and you threw off the blanket, his arm going with it. “Clint, something is wrong. What if it’s your dad?”
You quickly jumped out of the bed and ran down the stairs, Clint not far behind you. You found Laura and her father in the kitchen, Laura pacing and crying as her father tried to calm her. “Laura?” Clint stepped around you and grabbed a hold of his twin.
“She’s… She’s missing.”
“Who? Laura, tell me who.”
Who’s Lyle?

Part 21 in Deadly Secrets.
“Dad?” Garth stepped into the house.
“Ah, the fruit of my loins has finally returned home.” He took a puff of a joint as Garth rounded the corner and looked into the living room. “Oh, and you brought the thug with you.” He motioned to Dean. “Come to fight an old man again?” He opened his arms.
“Where is she?” Garth ignored him.
Your dad shrugged. “She hasn’t been home. Probably where she always is when she gets upset. On her back, legs wide with fucking Jack between them.”
Sam looked to Dean, but Garth spoke. “What did you do to her, dad?”
He opened his hands again, ashes falling from the joint to the floor. “Nothing. She’s just.. “ His fingers moved around his ear.
