Frenchman‘s Guy.
Born in 1987, the AQHA stallion Frenchman’s Guy (1st picture) was one of the most successful barrel horses with a career earning over $13 million. He’s still alive - also still standing at stud!
In 2011 his owners decided to clone this outstanding example of a horse. 3 clones were born, one of them „Guys Duplicate“ (2nd horse in the 2nd picture) is standing at stud. About the other 2 clones are no more infos to find.

Calvaro V.
Calvaro V (1st picture) and his rider Wilhelm Mellinger won in their career 2 Olympic medals and 4 world champion medals. The Holsteiner had to be retired in the age of 15 because of a knee injury, 3 years later he was put down because his health rapidly declined.
Since Calvaro V was a gelding, he got cloned. His clone “Calvaro Cryozootech Z” (2nd picture) was born 2007 and is now competing in France.

Sage (left) was one of the greatest American mares of the 1990s and is the foundation mare of one of the world’s top polo lineages.
Because of her exceptional genes and her athleticism her owner Charlie Armstrong cloned her, the result is the mare “Show Me” (right), who’s the first cloned pony that ever competed in the Argentinian Polo Tripple Crown in 2013.

The Dutch stallion Jazz (1st picture) is a supersire in the dressage world. For this reason his owners wanted him to be cloned - simply to save his genes.
His two clones (2nd picture) were born in 2012.

Gills Bay Boy („Scamper“)
The world famous AQHA gelding and barrel racing star Scamper (1st picture) wrote history with his incredible amounts of victories and got into the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame in 1996.
Since he was a gelding, his owners decided to clone him. His clone Clayton (2nd picture) stands at stud, even though he can’t be licensed because it’s forbidden to use cloned horses in the barrel racing industry.

Poetin Z.
Poetin Z (1st picture) was an outstanding dressage mare and won literally every championship of the young dressage horses.
She got sold to a Dutch family and the ING bank, but there was a financial dispute between them so she got sold again at the PSI auction for a total amount of 2,5€ to Haras De Hus.
When the mare arrived in France the vets found out that she had a very aggressive form of laminitis, it got worst within the next month so she got put down.
Haras de Hus decided to clone her, because they wanted to save the genes of this outstanding mare. Her clones Poetin Z Cl 1 (2nd picture) and Poetin Z Cl 2 (3rd picture) were born in 2007 and are used for breeding at Haras De Hus.

Romulus 16.
Romulus 16 (in the back) was one of the most successful show jumpers in the UK, he competed 6 years on the high level with his rider Damian Charles and got sold later to Julia Harrison Lee, she competed with him successful in amateur classes.
Sadly Romulus 16 was a gelding, so Julia Harrison Lee decided to clone her horse in a lifetime. 2010 his clone “Little Gerry” (front) was born.
