In light of my very very stressful week this week, would you play a game with me to help keep me grounded?

Hello! I’m still thinking about Zeros since we were just talking about him 🥰 (I’m down bad)

I don’t really have a question, but more a head canon, so let me know if I’m right or off the mark:

Zeros gives off the vibe of someone who’d be happy to sit in silence with you and just…chill. No words, just vibes. Hanging out together, both quietly doing their own thing (reading/gaming/crafting) but spending that time together. He strikes me as someone who enjoys a comfortable silence.

Zeros, smiling fondly: always a delight.

I enjoy reading a fair amount. I enjoy fantasy books most, I think. A way to escape what I've been doing, think about another world, another time... something that makes me laugh, but it's not all comedy. Good plot, a little laughing, and y'know, who wouldn't enjoy some romance?

Hm... I do believe I've just described what I look for in a companion as well. A good person, makes me laugh, makes me feel like I'm not in a war...

I guess I look for a story in everything.

What’s your favorite way to relax & unwind?

Frost looks around, smirks at his brothers, and then back to you. The other cold command members look confused, before Frost reaches into his leg armor and produces two long, thin rods. Winter, Shiver, and Zeros cheer. Stone groans and covers his face, looking exhausted.

Frost: I knit socks for my brothers. Everyone in the 404th has a set, including Athena and General Valka. As a joke-

Stone: that's enough-

Frost: I knit Stone-

Stone: IM ORDERING YOU, FROST DO NOT.

They look at each other, Stone angry, Frost with a mischief in his eyes. He turns back to you.

Frost: I knit Stone underwear as a joke and we caught him wearing them-- OW WHAT THE FUCK!?

Stone: THEY WERE A GIFT YOU ASS WHAT WAS I GONNA DO, NOT WEAR THEM!?

As they bicker, Zeros chuckles and shakes his head.

Zeros: What was that question earlier about love languages? Yeah, if you give Stone something that you put effort or thought into, he'll burn the world if you asked.

For Zeros: Since you don’t like sweets, what’s your preferred and go-to treat? And are you willing to share it?

Zeros turns around, looking like a deer in headlights: a packet of dried seaweed in his mouth, unopened. Squid jerky, shrimp chips, and smoked salmon snacks are also in his arms. He unlocks his jaw and catches the seaweed packet in his hand.

Zeros: I like sea snacks... I will share, if you'd like some. No one else likes them, so I usually get them all to myself. They're mostly good for you, too.

What are your hopes for the future? And do you have any regrets?

Zeros folds his arms over his chest and rubs his chin, looking up as he thinks for a moment.

Zeros: hmmm... well. Hm. I guess my hope for the future would be peace. A united republic with independent systems all working together harmoniously for the betterment of each other. It's not something I'll see in my lifetime, but it's what I hope for. Tending a garden will never see bloom, as it were.

Regrets, though, those are abundant. People I couldn't save, lives I had to take, people I didn't say enough to... It would be easier to say the things I don't regret.

Hi, sorry, I've got more questions, please.

I'm curious about the tattoo situation with the cold command?

Zeros: Winter and I have matching tattoos of the name of one of our brothers, Trigger. He's... he's not with us anymore. But if it hadn't been for his sacrifice, Winter wouldn't be here. I've got his name on the side of my middle finger, where Trigger had it himself. Winter's is along his sternum. I don't have others.

Winter: I also have five black bands around my wrists, each roughly 1/4th an inch thick!

Shiver: I've got the 404th emblem on my left shoulder.

Frost: none for me. Not yet, anyway.

Stone, growling: I'm not saying what they are, but I do have two.

Zeros: embarrassed about the took tracks on your inner bicep?

Stone: NO

Zeros: huh. Must be the-

Stone shoots Zeros a withering glare, to which the medic is completely unphased.

Zeros: oooh so it is that one. I think it's sweet, why would you be embarrassed about that?

Stone: shut it.

Zeros: I have Trigger's name. So does Winnie.

Stone: that's enough.

Zeros: Stone'ika relax, it's not like I'm telling the whole world you have the word--

Stone starts open handedly whacking Zeros, who just starts laughing at his brother's reaction.

Zeros: GHOST! IT'S THE WORD GHOST! IT'S ON HIS OTHER ARM! SAME SPOT AS THE TOOKA TRACKS BUT ON THE OTHER SIDE!!

Stone: SO YOU'VE CHOSEN DEATH!!!

Hi, I've got questions for Stone and Zeros, please:

Do you have a guilty pleasure?

If the barracks were on fire and you had to leave immediately, what's the one possession that you would save?

Stone: Boo. I'd save her, no hesitation.

Zeros: who's Boo?

Stone: none of your damn business. Answer your half.

Zeros rolls his eyes with an affectionate huff and pinches Stone's cheek. Stone swats his hand away, blushing.

Zeros: I think I'd have to be... maybe the socks Frost knit me? Of course I usually wear them... mmm... oh! My blanket! Athena gave me this little blanket once when I had a cold. I was mad with fever, and she stayed with me while I recovered. Told me... I'm now realizing Athena gave me her own baby blanket...

Stone: you stole the baby's blanket? And they call me Stone Cold.

Zeros: she gave it to me! Told me to keep it!

Stone: sure she did. That your guilty pleasure? Stealing from babies?

Zeros, pouting: Stone'ika stop teasing me. And no, it's not. I... enjoy companionship from time to time.

Stone: that's not very guilty- oh. OH! Oooh Zeros, getting after it!

Zeros, blushing: yes yes okay, now you.

Stone: don't have any. I don't feel bad about the pleasures I take.

Zeros: not even this "Boo" girl is a guilty pleasure?

Stone: nope.

Zeros: huh...
