Aww, that would be so cute!! Imagine Laura and Carmilla being woken up early on Christmas morning by their kids excitedly running into their bedroom, yelling about how Santa came last night. They hop up onto the bed and quite literally drag their moms out from under the covers because they can’t wait to open their presents. Then Laura goes to make pancakes for breakfast while Carmilla plays with the kids and their new toys. Grandpa Hollis comes over with more presents (he loves spoiling his grandkids) and they spend the rest of the day celebrating and having fun

When Hollstein celebrate the holidays with Papa Hollis for the first time he gets Carmilla a Hanukkah stocking to hang over his chimney next to Laura’s Christmas stocking. Christmases later, Sherman stares in awe at the present Carmilla just gave him. With a warm smile Carmilla quietly says “You’re going to need one more on the chimney, Grandpa.”

Laura wants kids, though. How are they going to have kids if they’re both immortal? (I mean, not ‘have’ kids as much as raise them and see them grow old while they’re both eternally young?) I’m a pouty creampuff. :(

Oh I’ve had a solution to this for a while, from when I thought we were going to get vamp!Laura, but the fountain of youth thing makes it even easier—they raise the kids as humans and then when they reach adulthood they’re allowed to choose whether to age normally or to drink from the fountain

Carmilla but Laura narrates it HIMYM style

Okay but imagine Laura and Carmilla sitting their kids down on the couch and Laura saying “Kids, I’m gonna tell you an incredible story. This story of how I met your mother.” And the kids are horrified, thinking she’s about to bring out the sock puppets again (she used them to give the kids the sex talk) but instead she pulls out a laptop and makes them watch all her videos. Halfway through she turns to a mortified Carmilla and says “I forgot how much kissing and… other stuff there is in these videos”

I have to wonder sometimes - am I the only person who headcanons *Carmilla* being the one to carry the Hollstein baby? I mean, pregnant!Laura's cute and all, and there's nothing *bad* about it, but Carmilla being the one to carry the baby ... it just feels poetically appropriate, you know? After three centuries of bringing death, Carmilla finally brings life. It feels like it would be a healing experience for her

Laura is the type of girl who, when at that stage of her life and in love with someone, would get pregnant just to tell anyone that thinks women can't both carry a baby and be career oriented that they're wrong.

Different anon but I'd really doubt laura would want to carry a baby? She's so career orientated and does yoga likes to be busy and I think carmilla would love the idea of, what she's THINKS is, being doted on for nine months and being allowed to eat whatever weird shit she wants and get away with being grumpy because "laura, I am PREGNANT". She quickly discovers that pregnancy is a little more unpleasant than that, but then she loves to be taken care of by Laura. So ultimately it's a win
