“What do you want me to make for dinner, love?” I say to Droid while looking around in the fridge at what we had.
“Hmmm… can we make chicken tacos, pookie?” He said, stifling a giggle.
I take a second to register what he just called me; a nickname he has never called me before. I turn to look at him slowly, my one eyebrow raised quizzically. “Pookie?”
He just shrugs and has a sweet but maniacal smile on his face. He’s cooking up something in that hilarious brain of his.
I take out everything I needed for dinner and task him with chopping up the veggies while I get the chicken ready.
“Once you’re done with that, can you put the stove on and sauté them?” I ask him, while seasoning the chicken.
“Of course I can, schmoopy,” he said, taking the things over and lighting the stove.
He watches as my hand stop putting the rub on the chicken while I repeat the name in my head, trying to figure out his game. I just shake my head, continuing to cook dinner.
As the chicken is starting to cook, Droid comes up behind me and hugs around my waist. I snuggle into him as I’m stirring the chicken around the pan.
“Hi, my Snugglebutt,” he says, stifling a giggle on the top of my head. Again, he makes me stop in my tracks as I turn around to him.
“Snugglebutt?” I say, trying to not give him the satisfaction of giving in to his antics.
“What about... Love Muffin?” He says, holding his hands out like he’s offering me something.
I try not to react but I fold my lips together and close my eyes as I try not to laugh. I stand strong and look him in the eyes again.
“How ‘bout it Munchkin?” He puts his elbow on my head to show our height difference. I immediately smack it off of me; he knows that irritates me when he does it.
I pout a little as I turn back around to turn the stove off so I can get away from this conversation and finish dinner.
He hugs me from the back again, “C’mere hot stuff,” he says, kissing me on the head.
“Okay, I actually like that one,” I say, finally giggling at his antics.
3 times Grizzy admires you for pursuing your dreams, helps you through your schooling … and at your graduation
-
Grizzy just finished up a recording session with the boys, only to find you curled up in a blanket burrito, surrounded by papers and the light of your laptop showing the latest course work you were working on.
He sneaks up behind your chair and snakes his hands across your neck and chest to give you a gentle hug. You settle your head into his strong arms, taking a well earned eye break from your screen.
“Hi, how are you doing?” He asks. “I’m doing alright, just finishing up the last of my work for this section. Starting to get a migraine though,” You reply.
“Can I sit with you while you finish?” He asks, grabbing the extra chair in the corner. “Absolutely you can, my love,” you say with a small smile on your face, grateful for the short break with getting to talk to him.
He smiles at you back, “Wanna go get ice cream as a reward after?”
Without thinking twice, you groan and immediately shake your head yes. “That will definitely give me some motivation to finish this up.”
You resume your work as Grizzy queues up some lofi music to help you focus a little more. As you get back into your groove of writing, Grizzy couldn’t help but look at you with a look of admiration and love. To see you in your element, your groove of writing and focus on the laptop in front of you; he is in awe.
You look over at him to find him adorning the sweetest look at you and you couldn’t help but blush. You lean in for a quick kiss because you just couldn’t resist your boyfriend.

(your pov)
The day was spent once more surrounded by books, articles, and my laptop. I knew completing my masters degree would be incredibly difficult but not this maddening.
Grizzy and I were sitting in our living room; me trying to complete a section of my thesis, him playing a game on the TV.
He really is such an angel for dealing with my mood swings and today was no different. The sentences were not flowing, quotes from the articles I was using didn’t seem to fit right and it was only a matter of time before I combusted.
I slammed my laptop closed and ran my hands down my face. “Today is just not my day, Griz.”
He immediately paused his game and came closer to me on the couch. “What’s going on? Talk it out with me,” He says caringly.
“Nothing is flowing right. I have so many ideas but my outline and fact sheet just is not lining up with what I wanted to do. I’m lost,” I say groaning, falling into his arms as he sweeps me up.
“Okay, have you eaten yet today?” He looks at the clock reading 2:00pm, I shake my head no. “Alright, that’s the first problem,” He says as he sits me up.
“You know I am so proud of you, right?” I look into his eyes as he declares that. I meekly agree with him, embarrassed at my outburst of frustration.
“I am incredibly proud of you and I can recognize burnout, trust me. You need to take a break, at least for a little. How about we go out, grab some lunch, maybe we can hit up an arcade or go swimming? It’s starting to get nice out and you need some sunlight,” He says, caressing my head and playing with my hair to calm me down.
“Can we get Chipotle and some margs at Dave and Buster’s?” I say looking into his eyes. He gives me yet another sweet smile and says, “Of course we can, this is your day after all. Go get ready and I’ll drive.”
I eagerly run up the stairs at his offer and he just laughs at my fast changing behavior. He’ll do anything to make me happy.

“Well, ___, Your thesis was absolutely one of my favorites to read this semester and you did an amazing job. I am happy to announce that you have graduated and will participate in this upcoming graduation. We look forward to seeing you soon!” The lead professor on the panel says to me during my defense.
I could almost burst into tears, I was so happy. “Thank you so much for your consideration! This thesis was my baby for the longest time and I am so elated to finally have defended it to everyone of you esteemed professors. Thank you,” I say, my smile growing by the second.
I get up to shake everyone on the panel's hands and have to stop myself from skipping out of the room. As soon as I exit the building, I see Grizzy waiting anxiously by his car. As soon as his eyes meet mine and see how excited I am, he immediately relaxes.
As I get closer, I start running to him. I throw my arms up, aiming for a hug, screaming “I did it!”
He grabs me and starts spinning me around, my legs around his waist as he hugs me with all his might, spurred on by his excitement for me.
He puts me down and grabs my face to kiss me. As he pulls away, he whispers to me, “I am so proud of you. I knew you could do it and all that hard work has paid off.”
“I might have a little surprise for you, because again, I just knew you could do it. So, we’re gonna go home, get a little fancy, and I made a reservation for us at that fancy restaurant downtown we’ve been wanting to try,” He says, holding my hands between us.
I couldn’t stop the squeal that erupted from me as I wrapped my arms around his neck. “How did I get so lucky with you, baby?” I say.
“I could say the same thing for you,” He says, putting his head on mine.

The day has finally come. The day you graduate with your masters degree. The little child inside of you is screaming out of happiness because this is something you have been dreaming of for a long time, a place you never thought you would ever get to.
I am waiting to process in with all my other friends in my program, us all sharing the same joy and happiness for ourselves and for each other.
The music starts to swell with excitement as the professors in our program and surrounding programs usher us in with proud and congratulatory smiles.
I look around to take in my surroundings of fellow graduates, family members and friends. I try to search through the crowd to find my loved ones, especially my Grizzy.
My eyes capture my mother’s first, then my father, sister and brother, with Grizzy at the aisle seat along with them. I give them all a wave when I hear my brother and Grizzy yell together, “YEAH ___!”
I shy away at their loud affection with an embarrassed but proud smile at my family and love right now.
We found our seats and my friends all were on the verge of tears; out of happiness and joy at what we achieved together. I grabbed my best friend's hand as we started to listen to the speeches, knowing that was leading up to walking across the stage.
Before we knew it, our row was up to give our name cards and line up to meet our professor to hood us and receive our degrees. Of course, I was the last one and my nerves were at an all time high.
My work has brought me here to this day and I held my head up high, knowing the village I have behind me to keep me going to achieve my goals. I lock back into the moment at hand and scream for my best friends as they walk across the stage.
And then it was my turn. No time to freeze now, I hand my card with my name on it to the announcer as I lock eyes with my gracious professor, about to adorn me with my graduation hood and diploma declaring my achievement.
“___ _____,” The announcer calls my name, as I hear screams from my friends at their chairs, my family up in the stands. “That’s my girlfriend!” I hear Grizzy yell as I look out to where he is sitting and try not to giggle too hard, along with the audience laughing at his declaration.
I shake my professor’s hand that helped me through everything in my schooling, the one who recommended me to even apply to grad school. He places the hood around me as we take a picture and we exchange a hug of gratitude.
I finish my journey, walking across the stage and wave out to the audience and blow a kiss. I join my friends back at the seats, exchanging excited whispers as we finish out the ceremony.
Thankfully, my family listened to me and were where I said to meet me in the sea of graduates. I ran up to my mom and dad and gave them the biggest hug. I would be nowhere without them, and my siblings, eager to take pictures to post on social media to brag about me.
And Grizzy. My literal angel on Earth. I go up to him and give him a hug, tightly wrapping my hands around his neck. We take a moment for us and bask in the moment that I was finally done with my work; everything has paid off.
I shed some happy tears, finally letting a lot of my emotions go that I didn’t want to flow during the ceremony. He is looking at me with the same look of adoration he would give me while I cooped up in our bedroom, laser focused on my laptop with lists of articles to read and annotate. A look of almost worship to witness the beauty of my work.
“Alright, let’s take some pictures!” My mom tells us. “Stay right where you two are, this is adorable!” No one is a bigger fan of our relationship than my mother.
We smile at each other as we take a picture, memorializing this special moment in time not just for me, but for us.

Song: Cryin’ by Aerosmith
-------
Finally, I’m home from a horribly busy day at work. I sigh as I set my keys down on our little dish by the front door and kick off my shoes, dropping my bag on the couch to retrieve later.
All I want to do is curl up into a burrito on the couch but I know a steamy shower would wash all the stress of the day away.
“Hi baby girl, I’ll join you in a little bit,” I say, petting Sly on her head as she looks up at me with her big, expecting eyes.
As I’m heading upstairs, I hear Pezzy winding down from his early stream since he was playing a new game with the guys. Perfect timing, I headed to the bathroom and made sure I had all my products for an ‘everything’ shower. Anything to help me wind down myself.
As soon as the water was steaming hot, I jumped in and felt all the tension in my body melt away. With all my smell goods, I lather and pamper myself a little bit.
I hear Pezzy’s door creak a little, signaling that he is off stream. Not too long after, I hear the bathroom door creak open and Pezzy’s voice ringing off the walls.
“I WAS CRYIN, WHEN I MET YOU-” Pezzy scream-sang coming into the bathroom.
A little thing about my dear boyfriend, he “randomly” sings at any given moment when a song is stuck in his head. I told him ONE TIME that I wanted to hear him sing more since I think he has a nice voice in my opinion; which is what led us here.
“For god’s sake, Pez, I’m showering!” I yell back, peeking my head around the shower curtain.
“NOW I’M TRYYYYNA FORGET YOU.. ___ I’m starting to think you don’t appreciate my exclusive performances,” He says, giving me a little pout.
“Because I don’t. I have soap in my eye now,” I say, trying to rub my eye with my non-soapy hand.
“YOUR LOVE IS SWEEET MISERRYY-”
“LEAVE.” I say, pointing a finger to the door. I see Sly peak around the corner of the door, wondering what all the commotion was.
“Sly, get your dad out of here.”
She lets out a little meow and saunters off. Little diva.
“Do you want to sit in here with me while I finish up, baby?” I say, giving him a soft smile, showing him that I’m not actually mad at him for coming in.
He gives me the cutest, energetic nod and perches himself up on the toilet as we talk about our days and the plans for the evening.
Even though he gets on my nerves with his spontaneous concerts, I still love him and his presence all the time.
Summary: Reader invites the guys out for drinks and they may have a trick up their sleeve.
-
“Guys, please come out with us tonight!” I say, jumping out of my spot and looking at all the boys. We were all playing Mario Kart at Droid’s when my best friend told me to come out to the bars tonight.
“A nap sounds kinda good right now, not gonna lie,” Droid said, fake yawning. I shot him a look and pulled out my puppy dog eyes, they always work.
“Do not give me that look,” Droid said. I only pouted my lip harder.
“I mean, drinks do sound like a vibe right now. I’m down for it,” Grizzy said.
“See! If you don’t want to stay you don’t have to of course, I miss going out with you guys,” I said, hopping back into my spot between Droid and Pezzy.
“Well, let’s finish up our Mario Kart session and then we can prepare for a night out with your crazy ass,” Puffer said, queuing up for the next race.
“You just want to continue beating us, don’t you?” Pezzy said as we all looked at Puffer. He responded with a short and deadpanned ‘Yes’.
After another hour of getting our asses beat, I called it quits. “Okay, I need to go home and get changed and get all pretty. Meet us at the bar at 10?” I say getting up to gather my things.
“Yup, we’ll be there!” Droid said enthusiastically. The guys all exchanged looks and I gave him a sweet smile and patted his leg. “Don’t be late!” I yelled, walking out the door.
“Oh, you're whipped man,” Grizzy said. “Shut up!” Droid said, holding a pillow to his face.
“Amor, hurry up!” My best friend yelled up at me, pulling on her shoes. “I’m coming, I’m coming!” I yelled back, running down the stairs because the Uber was about to pull up to the house. I check my bag for everything I need; ID, debit card, lip gloss, roll on perfume and keys. Perfect!
I pull on my platform boots, feeling like Sabrina Carpenter, and loop my arm around my bestie’s and give her a big smile. “Excited for tonight? Is it because you finally convinced the boys to come out?” She said, smirking at me.
I drawed out a long ‘Maybe’ and hid my face from the blush rising on my cheeks.
We chatted on the way to the bar and after a short ride, we pulled up to our favorite bar. I get a text from Droid saying they are on the way. “Let’s go in and see if we can get a booth, the guys are on the way,” I say leading the way.
We go up and say ‘Hi’ to the bouncer, we come here all the time for the events and such they have so we easily became regulars. We both spot an open booth and book it over there.
“Thank god we got somewhere to sit, I know the guys will be appreciative,” my roomie said. “That and I know how much we hate our feet hurting after dancing the entire night,” I added. “Oh my gosh, you’re so smart babe,” she said, smiling at me.
I texted Droid where we were and shortly, the server came up to us. We ordered some appetizers and drinks to start with when we spotted the boys come in.
I jumped and waved to them, smiling big. I ran up to Droid and gave him a huge hug. I pulled away, “I’m so glad you guys are here! We’re gonna have so much fun.”
I gave the other guys hugs and grabbed Droid’s hand to bring them to the table. The boys all shared a look and looked at my bestie giving them the same look.
I sat back down next to my bestie with Droid across from me, Pezzy, Grizzy, and Puffer filing in before him.
“Here are your appetizers and drinks for you ladies,” the server said. I got so excited and immediately went into the food. We all ate and caught up since they were also close with my bestie and haven’t seen each other in a hot minute.
The drinks were flowing. Music was bumping. We were all feeling ourselves. “Después de la Playa” by Bad Bunny started playing and my bestie and I looked at each other and immediately grabbed onto each other and started singing.
We ran to the dance floor and started dancing along to the infectious beat of the song. Bringing out all of our moves, hips swinging left to right.
The boys all looked at us like we were lunatics because they have never been clubbing with us and were surprised.
Their mouths were agape but not more than Droid at me. The guys caught on to his gaze and were egging him on to join me.
I danced with my bestie for a good part of the song before she whispered in my ear, “Do you see Droid ogling at you?” She said almost squealing. I looked at her and shook my head ‘Yes’.
She drifted over to the other guys as I caught Droid’s eye. With drunken eyes and a dopey smile, I did a ‘Come here’ motion with my finger. Droid all but floated over to me and with my confidence sky-high, I placed his hands on my waist and mine over his shoulders.
We danced for the remainder of the song, not even realizing the next one started up.
He dipped his head near my ear, “You look absolutely gorgeous,” Droid said. I give him a bashful smile, “Thank you. I’m really glad you came out with us. Besides, if you never came out with us, you wouldn’t be doing this,” I say, caressing his face.
We take a moment, lost in each other’s eyes. Close enough to feel each other’s heartbeat, I grabbed his neck to bring his mouth closer to me. Feeling each other’s breathing get heavier, his grip getting tighter on my hips.
I think to myself, I might as well have a little more fun… I pull him just enough to ghost my lips over his and tease a kiss that I’ll give him… eventually.
He pulls back enough to look me in the eyes, giving me the most defeated but amused look in his eyes.
“Oh, you are trouble, you know that?” He laughs at me while twirling me around and pulling me back into his embrace.
“I know, but you love it.” I said back, giving him a kiss on the cheek. “Wanna go get another drink, the waitress is back at the table and I need another.”
“Let’s go, diablita,” He whispers in my ear, leading me back to the table.
We take our respective seats at the table, me next to my bestie, him next to Pezzy. My bestie places her hand on my thigh and whispers, “Good job.” I give her a little smile, she knew my plans all along.
