Y'know that awesome feeling when your home alone and ya don't have to worry about putting clothes on? I fucking love it!
Fuck pants! Screw shirts! Burn in hell bras! And ignore my underwear drawer!
Not a SINGLE fuck given
Thoughts
I find it deeply disappointing that I should have to put clothes on so in order to not to not be arrested when I go outside. That’s trash...
if i could just be naked all the time that’d be preferable
This is completely random but
why the fuuuuuuck is women's clothing so fucking ugly?
I feel like for at least 15 years I have been scraping the barrel here because everything is just unflattering and oddly cut?
Style quizzes place me as 'Punk, Sport, Boho' (which is so accurate and also a weird combo, lol) but can't find shit for any of those.
Anyway, random rant over and out.
Oh, to live alone and have my tits out all the time
i hate doing laundry so much its unreal
you said "underpaid garment factory workers are doing for daniel in bangladesh/sri lanka/india/his exploited country of choice." but on the website it has created by hand in the heart of Los Angeles, if you had even bothered to check
Thanks for the correction! Was this supposed to be a gotcha moment? It would have been nice to have a discussion about this rather than coming on anon to name and blame, so I'm not sure what your intentions were here.
No, I didn't bother to check, and that wasn't the best thing of me to do. I can and should do better, especially given my background. I'm glad Daniel's people made an effort to think about where the garments were made.
But while we're on the topic, and I'm not saying this is the case with Ricciardo, LA itself is sort of.......a cesspool for US-based garment manufacturing in sweatshops, fueled by the labour of undocumented immigrants. Not to get political on main, but there are points to be made re: american exceptionalism, orientalism, the fucky back and forth of protectionism and globalisation, that mean made in america, especially made in LA, into a red-flaggy virtue signal of their own.
Anyway, point is that america is very much an exploited country of choice in the industry! I made an assumption and I am wrong and I hope Ricciardo is following Lewis' footsteps to a sustainable collection, and if he is, I'd like to see it. Ricciardo x Lewis x Reformation collab 2021
(edit because I had shower and continued thinking about this: there’s a lot to say about no ethical consumption etc. you know the drill, buy the hoodie if you want because i’m really not here to police individual buying habits. decreased consumption is a good thing but an individual choice and we’re like, all broke here anyway. please don’t come @ me to talk about the inherent unethical factors of making your own merch either. my stance is: crafts are good for you, millionaires need less money, be cute on a low budget, and be conscious of your consumption, whatever that means to you. have fun)
