Description: A fluffy, mostly white chocolate calico. Cloudwatcher is a quiet, contemplative cat and can sit motionless for hours if she’s focused on a task.
She became fascinated with the role of the Sky Watcher in observing the weather and preparing for avalanches during leafbare. Shortly after becoming an apprentice, she begged Webwatcher, the Sky Watcher at the time and her great-granduncle, to teach her. He was aging and needed to begin training a successor so he happily agreed to teach such an eager apprentice. Many have interest since it’s such a vital role but few have to focus needed to do the job well. Cloudwatcher picked up on everything he taught her with astonishing speed, though she lacks the practical experience of actually making the calls of when to evacuate camp.
Webwatcher died last leaf-bare in an avalanche as he was helping the last cats evacuate camp leaving Cloudwatcher to inherit the position. She is very nervous of the upcoming leaf bare but is determined to do her best, studying the records painted on the Sky Wall from past seasons and speaking with Greystar to keep everything fresh in her mind.
