In episode 5 of past life, Grian Pov, Jimmy and Grian have a conversation that IS TOO CODED.

YES JIMMY, THE WATCHERS LOVE DEATH, IM SURE YOU KNOW THAT WITH YOUR TIME HAVING THE CANARY CURSE

Jimmy later when he's asking Grian to stop being invisihorse (but the way he says it just feels deeper): I miss the old you

In a hopes to the fill the void that is waiting for the next life series to be announced, here's another theory on Past life

Jimmy found out that Grian is a watcher, like fully aware of it.

I theorized earlier that he was based on a convo that I think was episode 5, where Jimmy says "I miss the old you"

Well I'm pretty sure Jimmy has decided the old Grian will never come back. The thing is, Grian doesn't even realized he's changed.

He thinks that just because he doesn't work for the watchers anymore, that he's no longer a part of their nonsense. But he is.

Mainly because the life series itself exists because of deeply he is a watcher. He likes the control. The watchers know, deep down Grian knows it, and now Jimmy knows it too.

Grian hasn't been boogy yet because the watchers want him to admit that he's just like them. As the saying goes, you can't have your cake and eat it too.

However Jimmy doesn't care if Grian is in denial. What matters is he's still playing their game. Jimmy has experienced first hand the games of the watchers, and he's hoping, maybe, just maybe he can put an end to it.

Also links onto why scar and grian had such little interactions this season. Neither the watchers or Jimmy want Grian to influence Scar, not to pull him closer or away from the grip of the watchers.

While I think Scott is in a really weird kind of limbo with the watchers, I don't agree with the theory he's the most hated. I think the watchers find him the most interesting. Chaos incarnate but working from behind the scenes unless forced otherwise. Hence why they constantly make him boogy, to force him to act. Scar is their favorite because they don't have to make him do anything. Scar is scar. Crazy in a way you think he won't succeed. Yet he always does.

I think if Scar were to be 'randomly' paired with Joel, aka the Scooby doo villain of Minecraft, he'd be given opportunity to pull some very, very heinous acts, much like what I think would've happened if scar paired with Ren in third life instead of Grian.

But back to my main point. With Jimmy distracted trying to take down Grian, he won't be paying attention to the next gen of watchers: Joel, Scar, and Scott. AKA, The Shooting Scars. Bc all of Joel's plans usually fall, like a star. Scott is an absolute star (gem and the scotts reference-), and of course literal hot guy scar. I was also thinking Scar and the forces of Evil (svtfoe reference)

I want a life series similar to bird box.

Where the boogie is only active at random times during the session, started with a mass notification to shhhh.

Quiet time.

They can't turn they're mic off but they must be silent. It's the boogies job to make them talk. If they do? Instant death.

Martin and Joel would RULE this life series

I think Jimmy would actually last quite long, with the past life watcher Grian stuff, bro is gonna be paranoid.

SPOILERS FOR BOTH WILDLIFE AND PAST LIFE EPISODE 5)

So with Tango being dead the earliest in life series history, what's your opinion on where the dead lifers go?

Because I feel like it depends, for example when Jimmy had his canary curse, I feel like he was sent to a sort of play room, mocked by the watchers

Which connects to why I think the watchers hate Scott, it's because Jimmy went above and beyond to break the canary curse so he could team with Scott again without worrying about leaving him alone like in third life (go see my post on why Jimmy and Scott haven't teamed since third life but that's pretty much the gist of it)

Because Jimmy broke his curse, they couldn't bring him to the curse room after his traffic heart stopped, so they hated Scott for taking away their favorite toy, which is why I firmly believe we will never see Grian team with both Jimmy and Scott at the same time, why would the watchers let their youngest work with people they have a grudge against?

The only way I see Grian working with Scott is if Scar teamed up with Scott first, because I believe next season the watchers would want Grian to protect scar, and if Scott is there, they need to make sure Scar doesn't get caught in the crossfire.

But I'm off topic, in short, Lifers with a curse, go to a curse room when they permadie so the watchers can move them. For the others...they sorta just drift.

Majority of the time they forget their time drifting through the watchers space, but once, only once, during the superhero episode of wildlife, Mumbo saw Grian. When Grian begged the watchers to let him take mumbo and skizz just for a little, and that he'd promise it'd be interesting

But what mumbo noticed...grians face was wrong...then he remembered when he said those black empty holes weren't eyes. They were holes. Grians 'face' was a mask. And under it...he looked almost like an ender men. His face marked in dark etchings (think Rumi from kpdh), dark black eyes with this almost ender portal shaped purple symbol. It was just for a few seconds. But since then. He hasn't figured out how to get back into his body. Just taking over the bodies of Lifers when they get stuck within the space. He doesn't want to tell Grian he remembers. He doesn't want Grian to think he sees him as a monster. Worst of all he's worried that someone else will find out.

What he doesn't know, is that Scar is remembering.

Everything.

Trust, we will have a Grian Scott and Scar trio next season, and if we're lucky, A mumbo and Joel duo.

Why you may ask?

Grian is a watcher, so obviously after this season he needs to watch over the watchers favorite, Scar

And obviously he needs to recruit the favorite murder weapon, Scott, he's been boogie the most

And with Both Scar and Grian occupied, Mumbo is left out alone, Joins Joel to help take out Scott because of Joel's rivalry with Scott. With Scott gone he could join Grian and Scar, we have the buttercup trio again? Will I make it a fan fic once my AO3 account is active? Yes

It'll be Scarian x yandere mumbo, with some slight Flower husbands

I think Scar and the watchers have such a positive paparazzi relationship-

So I like to compare it to the spidermans, where Scar is Tom Holland that's a pretty chill guy and the paparazzi (the watchers) love him. Jimmy is somewhere in the middle as Andrew Garfield and just wants avoid negative interactions with them because he's afraid of getting recursed. And then there's Grian, Grian is ABSOLUTELY Tobey Maguire here, legit hates the watchers and does everything in his power to keep them out of his life.

I think this would be a pretty interesting concept in like a Famous Idol AU and with my crazed kpdh phase, I think a kpdh sort of au would be fun to do. I might do it- I'm just procrastinating Nightlife and I don't want something else to distract me from it 🙏

Nightlife | Traffic SMP Fic

Relationships: Scarian x Yandere! Mumbo, Scott x Jimmy (Flower husbands), Joel x Lizzy (shadowbeans)

[An introduction from our favorite watcher]

Welcome to NightLife. A new minecraft SMP where we have 3 lives. Your name is green when you have three, yellow when two, and you turn red and hostile on your last life. When the sun goes down, you are given a task in order to entertain and appease the people watching in the night (*cough* the watchers *cough). This task can range from creating a themed build, proposing to a random person, murder, and whatever their psycho minds can think of. If the task isn't completed by 3 nights after it was given, the task is failed and well...you don't want to know.

(POV: Grian)

Teams are already being made, Grian, with a specific order knows exactly who he needs for his team immediately. His superiors had quite a fondness for Scott, in the sense they liked watching him struggle. But even more so, they loved Scar, like a lot. So currently, he was flying over the Server, the predetermined 'war ground' that was currently peaceful, until someone managed to screw up and die from falling off a cliff or something- SCAR

There was Scar, on a llama, the llama dangled from a lead, half choking, half staring into nothing questioning existence. Above him, watching in shock and amusement, Was Jimmy and Scott. Perfect, the two people Grian needed to find were in the same place...albeit one being hanging off a cliff clinging to the back of a llama.

I will absolutely add more to this, I just want opinions, from the watchers obvi 😋

So any tasks I should add? Relationships, btw understand that Scarian x Yandere mumbo is the main ship here, I added in flower husbands because I love them it's my favorite, I added shadowbeans because THEY HAVE A DAUGHTER NOW WOOOO
