Trust, we will have a Grian Scott and Scar trio next season, and if we're lucky, A mumbo and Joel duo.

Why you may ask?

Grian is a watcher, so obviously after this season he needs to watch over the watchers favorite, Scar

And obviously he needs to recruit the favorite murder weapon, Scott, he's been boogie the most

And with Both Scar and Grian occupied, Mumbo is left out alone, Joins Joel to help take out Scott because of Joel's rivalry with Scott. With Scott gone he could join Grian and Scar, we have the buttercup trio again? Will I make it a fan fic once my AO3 account is active? Yes

It'll be Scarian x yandere mumbo, with some slight Flower husbands

Okay okay so stick with me here

So Grian and the other EVO members were off doing their own thing until they beat the Ender Dragon and hop back through the portal.

However, due to Docm77 on Hermitcraft making his super machines, he accidentally shakes reality itself (possible time jumping thing going on here idk).

This causes the Watchers to notice Grian and select him to become their next member as he proved himself during EVO. Grian ascends to Watcher status and is dropped into Hermitcraft to do just that but he has to spend some time getting his bits of his memory back and following the rules of the Watchers.

Season 8 of Hermitcraft it is Grian accidentally using his Watcher powers combined with Doc’s machine furthering the disruption of reality that causes the moon big.

With the moon’s crash into S8, the Watchers are upset that Grian broke these new subjects out of the simulation and now have to come up with a backup plan to keep things in check.

S9’s Empire x Hermit crossover and the starting of the Life Series was the means the Watchers chose to punish Grian. (Additionally his joking mention of his eyes just being holes could lead to somewhere very dark with this wack theory lol)

Though progressively with each Life Series, Grian gains more and more power over controlling the cycles and Watchers step back satisfied that now he can continue to provide them with something to watch and they continue to mess with him by making him unable to get a mending book on HC10.

Quick headcanon:

Hermitcraft seasons each end with the world ending, even if they don’t necessarily show it. Each new season is the hermits jumping to another world. And when new hermits are added that’s just them picking up the original inhabitants of that world into their crazy cycle of destruction. And the reason people shift personalities and build preferences each season is the toll of this cycle weighing upon their minds and turning them insane.

I’m finally caught up on Mumbo’s hermitcraft (minus the court case) and I have a theory of his aging. (Mind you I’ve been skipping most posts about this bc spoilers so it’s very possible everyone has already heard this 🫣)

I think he’s turning into the scientist in those strange clips. The way his hair is greying and eyes are darkening are reminiscent of the scientists skin (images below). You can see the bit above the eyes darkening to become the eyebrows etc etc (They’ve even got the same colour tie).

I also think it tracks as the cutscenes are set inside the factory- an interior which hasn’t been built yet !! Therefore the cutscenes are set in the future and show the endpoint of his aging.

So I feel like the minedlabs account is definitely Mumbo.

The first video with Mumbo lore was published on September 21st at 7:00 PM

That means the account posted the first post nearly three hours before the first bit of lore went live.

So either

A.) it's Mumbo

B.) it's someone who knows about Mumbo's lore plans ahead of video uploads

So with Hermitcraft x Empires cross over saying that each smp world is its own universe/dimension and Hermitcraft Doc/Ren lore means that different seasons are different planets where does that leave the life series? is there any fandom consensus about whether its parallel universes or planet hopping or something else? how many different versions of each hermit are there or are we watching events in a non-chronological order?

plus the moonbig skin. and blaming his woes on a personified force of nature (the sea). ask and the ocean shall provide??? sounds.. familiar..
