World Water Day: Cochiti Lake, New Mexico - a decade and a half ago Cochiti Lake is a reservoir created by damming the Rio Grande. In a water hungry state like New Mexico, much of the water people use is from reservoirs or wells. I am told the water is no@longer blue and the level is lower if the snowpack wasn’t deep in the Spring.
