Before we announce this weekend’s spirit + cocktails for our Vodka + Canadian Gin Workshops with @eatingthroughto, here’s a recipe from last weekend’s cocktail adventures. Air Mail 1 oz @flordecanacanada Rum .5oz Honey .5oz Lime Juice Top with Champagne (or Prosecco or Cava :) Citrus Peel to Serve Shake rum, honey and lime. Strain into a flute, then top with champagne and garnish with orange or lemon peel. A easy entertaining cocktail for celebrations when you want a bit of bubbly... and a little rum 😉 Special thanks to @billy_killin from @flordecanacanada for guiding us through a rum tasting + providing premium spirits for our cocktail workshop. @flordecanacanada is a fair trade certified rum producer with a focus on sustainability + supporting the community. A single, family owned + operated estate within a 5 mile radius of the most active volcanic region in Nicaragua, the rich fertile land adds to Flor De Cana’s unique spirit and they are heavily invested in the health + vitality of the region. Also special thanks to @Montauk_bar for letting us offer our guests an authentic bar experience.
