i'm pretty bad at understanding courting, so do you have any tips on how a slightly cocky alpha who's a bit of a romantic would go about courting an independent omega who's painfully oblivious?

Do you know the general courting concept? Wooing their potential mate? Like PG Dating? LOL

They would gift them the biggest and best flowers.

They would gift them the softest items for their nest.

Every so often, they’ll mention how they are courting this absolutely beautiful Omega. 

When the Omega is asked about their opinion on this Alpha, the Omega returns with “What do you mean? He isn’t courting me, he’s just being a good friend.” 

“Why are you giving me this stuff?” 

The Omega’s actions and tender words, giving the Alpha hope for their (possible) future together.

The Omega being pulled to the side by friends/family asking if they are serious about this Alpha being their mate. And the Omega just giving them a confused look, like “what are you talkin about?” 

Those “hanging out” times, Alpha thinks they’re dates, the Omega thinks it’s just two friends hangin out. 

When they are out and about together, this Omega just doin their own thing every so often. Gettin their own doors, their own chairs, payin their own bill. Whatever, it’s normal for them. 

The Omega sayin “What? No, I made/did this my self.” often.
