i love how these characters are both dogs named Dante and they both come from Disney properties but other than that they couldn't be more different.

one's a silly, friendly little guy.

the other's an anxious goth doomsday "prophet."

i'll give you three guesses which one is which.

Ok, Well here is one of the drawings made in these days! 😘

I didn't have time to do the hand drawn background as well, so I retouched a background from the movie for the image!

Why are they floating? I have no idea but I liked the pose! 🤣

I also decided to have Miguel keep Hector's guitar here!

Hector instead I started with the sketch where he wore his new clothes and shoes, but then I drew him like this!

Teen Migo ~

I almost forgot to throw in some Miguel too 😶

He's 15 here. Still a baby face but a bit older. As you can see, he's getting taller! I might not have figured out how to draw him 100% right yet but it gets better.

And of course there's Dante 😄 where Migo is, there's Dante too!

If you wonder (where's Héctors guitar? Didn't we see 12y. Old Migo carry it around on other pics?")

Yes, true, he used to do that after he retrived it but eventually he stopped out of respect to Héctor and out of logic. That guitar is more or less a 100 years old (96) in 2017. And Miguel doesn't want to risk straining it until the point it needs to be restored and repaired. He wants each and every piece to stay as it was. He doesn't even want to change the strings (even though it's clear that during the years, Ernesto must have switched some strings. They need to be replaced once in a while if the guitar is being played a lot!)
