i feel like people dial down kazuichi into his personality just consisting of just loving sonia or being rivals with gundham, theres more to kazuichi than just that
theres more to his personality that intrigues me, hes a care-free guy! and his backstory is also sad and it shaped him how he is today. he kinda reminds me of a peacock or bird of paradise because they are usually known to have flashy and colourful plumage which in those terms, kazuichi wears these neon coloured outfits and even dyed his hair hot pink. he wants to make himself more colourful because he doesnt want to be the guy who was dull and miserable and was bullied he wants to be colourful and care-free which is interesting in design! i also like how his colour scheme somewhat contrasts with electricity slightly because hes a mechanic, usually mechanics would wear much darker colours such as navy blue or grey. the only exception being his hopes peak academy uniform. he wants to be noticed and make people think hes cool with those colours because they are certainly eye-catching
kazuichi intrigues me the most in general because he is a somewhat relatable character, the audience of danganronpa has either been through some sort of trauma like him (including me, myself) which is why i think everybody loves him! i love kazuichi too! he can be chill and then in the next second he is literally terrified of whatever the situation may be
