would anyone be down for a soapgaz alcoholics anonymous fanfic and if so please let me know. apologies to everyone that followed me for UPP content I'm very intensely multifandom!

I have previously written two other cod fics (both Ghoap, the second being high-key poly141) and they were both crackfics and if you'd want to read those also please let me know.

there are way too few fanworks with a poly 141 but more importantly i need an exploration of soap and gaz having Very casual sex since forever and also sharing fantasies ... dry (<- lying !!! it's very very wet) humping each other, switching, taunting and teasing about puppy crushes during sex, or like having a weird gay frat romance basically i need them slobbering on each other and about others (others are lbr superior officers (lets be realer, price and ghost) bc these guys have a thing ab it)

thinking about pet names and soapghost and how maybe it all starts out as a joke over comms, a little “thanks, gorgeous” or “should’ve asked sweetheart” and other iterations and maybe suddenly they’re in a safe house, patching up, maybe ghost is on his knees patching soap’s arm and he says “move just a bit, love, like that” and soap blushes fiercely and tenses for a second but then it passes like nothing happened and maybe it becomes a habit, just for them when they’re alone

and maybe one day they’re at a safe house again, just soap and ghost in the living room, price, and they assume gaz too, sleeping, and soap asks “darling would you-“ and gaz drops his phone on his toe as he’s walking through the door and they all sort of stop and stare at each other and then ghost interrupts whatever gaz is saying with a threat to his life, and life goes on (soap gets dragged aside by gaz later anyways and for some reason gaz doesn’t accept “it just happened” as reasoning enough for calling your superior “darling” and especially when your superior is ghost)

soap that is just on a hair trigger constantly like barracks bunny but literally as in constantly a Little turned on, jerks off thrice a day i need him to get walked in on and used … since he’s so insatiable anyways … some people have a morning wank, ghost has a morning fucks soap and moves onto his duties and soap is just . he’s having his morning need met he’s not complaining except after a while he wants More than earth shattering sex - he wants kisses and maybe to hold hands Fuck !!

established poly 141 this established poly 141 that how do they get together ?

i feel at least like there’s an established price/simon when both gaz and soap r brought in, but on the down-low, not defined in words between them and definitely not outwardly, but they’re secure, in silent communication if you will

what price and ghost have isn’t really a Relationship, because well ghost is ghost and he doesn’t do that emotional shit (or he does, with price, but that’s different and also huge just bc well . id zero is the standard then any deviation feels big) and then gaz come along and he and price click and they r emotionally all in in a very different way than ghost but hey! price still has time for ! they’re still fucking ! ghost doesn’t really complain or care what gaz and price do and he doesn’t really get it except that it’s hot on a surface level bc the crack in his skin that price got himself through has long been closed

and then soap comes along ! and hey why does it look like his captain and co-sergeant are fucking ? anyways i dont Quite know the reboot tl so take it with a grain of salt whether or not soap or gaz arrive first but however it goes soap cracks ghost’s walls against commitment and it all kind of tumbles away from there

soap and ghost napping on ghost together …

does it start accidentally ? for sure! we’ve got a mission finished, job well done, helicopter is packed, and soap is snoozing away on ghost’s shoulder to everybody’s varying degrees of shock and confusion (and price who’s being cryptic again)

ghost won’t sleep because he doesn’t sleep just like that, so he gets to sit stock still and glare for two hours but it’s fine really, soap doesn’t snore and he drools just a bit !

even as soap gets snugglier and ghost gets softer, as their relationship with each other progresses, it never happens the other way around. ghost never falls asleep with soap anywhere but in his own room, and even then soap never sees him asleep, not even once. it feels a little silly at first to worry about, but as time goes on and soap Still hasn’t seen ghost asleep, he starts to ask himself if ghost really trusts him

is he stupid to give ghost his heart to keep when it seems like it’s a one-way trust? has there really been any progress made when ghost doesn’t even trust him? for soap, sleeping with his back to somebody is about trust, and ghost won’t return that trust?

it’s not that ghost Won’t return the trust, it’s that he Can’t.. he Cannot get his hindbrain to stop churning paranoia into butter, he can barely sleep alone with price and he tells soap so, tells him that he might never be able to do that

anyways when it finally does happen soap wants to cry and also the floodgates open bc after the one exfil gjost sleeping on/octopused to/close to soap becomes a regular occurrence when on missions (and on base but that’s nobody’s business)

cod ff gives u Such a potential for outsider pov with the amount of soldiers constantly moving around and in and out of base like we’ve got a private stationed there just for a week or two watching his sergeant and lieutenant and he finds it a little strange how they act and how they talk amongst themselves, constantly touching, hands on waists and heads together, but then he’s shipped off and they stay a weird little memory

imagine if you will a ghost that shows affection by watching over people. sure, he offers to be the watch more often than not, but he’s also always sitting by the sickbed whenever he can - just watching, and when soap comes along he’s more often than not by soap’s sickbed when he’s in medical, and just in general by soap’s side (behind him, so he can see him)

ghost that takes the furthest chair because he wants everyone to be in his direct vision, ghost that sits in the corner of the rec room just Looking and it freaks the rookies out but the mind can get used to anything with time!

ghost that lies awake long after the 141 have fallen asleep, just looking at their faces, ghost that lies awake long after soap has fallen asleep, watching him. soap opens an eye and calls him a creep but who is he kidding really. he takes ghost’s hand and lays it over the side of his face and then falls asleep again.

is it about safety ? is it about knowing your friends trust you enough to turn their back to you ? is he just completely infatuated ? you may never know Or you may get a stab wound (unless you’re soap, soap knows)
