CoDM's Rorke has no right to be so sexy... (ò_óˇ)
Looking at him just makes me so... so... gaAAh!
Diego Almagro II ‘El Mozo’ headcanons
Sidenote: A chunk of these headcanons came from the Devil’s Breath book.
As leader, El Mozo retains a shroud of enigma. Before and after he took the position as leader, he was kept hidden from the world’s eye. He intends to keep it that way. While the US does not know about the Federation’s current leader, he does not need to worry about having a target on his back like his father.
Both he and his father have their different tastes in things. Diego Almagro was a traditionalist. When El Mozo assumed control of the Federation, he changed the soldiers’ attires. As said by Gabriel Rorke in Devil’s Breath, Berets that are with El Mozo are dressed in newer, flashier uniforms. El Mozo seeks change for the Federation’s benefits.
A thing to know about him is that El Mozo is polite in a seemingly-sincere way. In plenty of cases, he actually does mean it. In a way perhaps, it means you are safe. In the cases where he kills and orders the beheading of his own men, he operates with this peculiar coldness. One cog out of the machine, one less soldier to cross the line. Anyone that does so is something more worthless than the dirt at his boot.
You may never know it, but El Mozo knows much more than you assume. Even when you may not realize it - unless your gut warns you - El Mozo is positioned at a distance, watching you as the spectacle.
The person he has the absolute respect for is his father, General Diego Almagro. His father was his role-model growing up, an example of a person to take after. At the helm of the Federation, he seeks to fulfil his father’s vision. Even since the death of his father, vengeance has been the fuel behind the drive.
He is fluent in several languages of the South American continent, like Portuguese.
While he is Diego Almagro II, he is his own person. The Federation eagerly accepts it. Because as Caretaker states to Rorke, El Mozo is the change. They have his commitment, his intellect. His ambitions are sharper now when hate has been brought in. The sight of his enemies’ blood fuels this silent satisfaction.
It was strategic to keep Rorke in the pit and brainwash him to become the perfected weapon against the Ghosts. But what if on the other hand, it was a way to make Rorke suffer for being involved in killing El Mozo’s father. Got this thought when reading @tokillamockingbird427 headcanons.
Listen, we all knew this was coming.
The boys as hockey players featuring Elias and Rorke
Keegan
Defenseman. Quiet, mean, impossible to move off the puck. Takes hits like a brick wall with a pulse. Doesn’t celly much, just gives one dead-eyed nod after absolutely flattening someone into the boards. Secretly tapes his stick with obsessive precision.
Ajax
Power forward. Big, fast, loud, charming. The guy chirping opponents while grinning through his mouthguard. Scores greasy net-front goals and immediately points at Keegan like, “THAT WAS FOR YOU, BABY.” Beloved by fans. Menace in the locker room.
Merrick
Goalie. No debate. Terrifyingly calm. Veteran presence. Stares down shooters like they personally disappointed him. Post-game interviews are three-word answers. Has the ugliest, most sacred superstition routine known to man. Think Sidney Crosby but... worse.
Kick
Agitating winger. Not the biggest, not the strongest, but he’s fast, slippery, and psychologically damaging. Chirps so specific players leave the ice questioning their life choices. Keeps trying illegal stick modifications “for science.” Chews his mouthguard to absolute hell.
Logan
Two-way center. Smart, disciplined, quietly nasty when needed. Excellent vision, beautiful passing, responsible defensively. Looks innocent until he steals the puck and ruins your entire shift.
Hesh
Stay-at-home defenseman. Protective as hell. Always between Logan and trouble. Blocks shots like he has no survival instinct. The guy who grabs someone by the jersey after a late hit and says, very calmly, “Don’t touch my brother.”
Elias
Old-school coach. Gruff, strategic, terrifying clipboard energy. Gives speeches that make grown men sit up straighter. Would absolutely say, “You play for the man beside you,” and somehow make everyone ready to die on the ice.
Rorke
Former franchise captain turned rival coach/player. Was legendary once, now fueled entirely by spite. Knows every weakness because he helped build half the team. Every matchup against him feels personal, ugly, and playoff-level violent.
Here's some Rorke in a federation suit

i’ve been having many thoughts about him lately
Call of Duty: Ghosts - Rorke headcanons/musings
Warnings: mentions of physical disremembering body.
Thanks to @verymusicchaos for suggesting Rorke headcanons.
Revenge on his former comrades is what fuels him in the Federation war. Everyone knows this very well, especially by the Ghosts. However in the midst of this, he does have clear respect for Diego Almagro II, known as El Mozo, one of the few Gabriel truly respects. If you go very, very far for his approval and attention, he finds a twisted sense of amusement at it.
If someone wishes to gain Rorke’s respect, you must prove yourself, through the bloody and life-threatening circumstances. Even if he respects you, if you are not his superior, he still considers you under his rank, therefore he holds the authority.
Speaking of that, Rorke does not bend easily. While he respects his leader, he does not bother to lower his towering stance. He looks you dead in the eye with that trademark mocking behavior. It could be a possibility that after being brainwashed by the Federation Rorke has grown more visibly self-superior. The kind with more than just a tinge of arrogance, warped in condescension.
In the Federation, he has few friends. Like Victor Ramos, but alas, he was a means to an end and someone to easily discard when he reached the end of his usefulness. That goes for the rest who have gotten close to Rorke to call a friend. Everyone of them deemed useful pawns at the front of it all.
On the hand of him seeing most people as pawns, he recognises potential. Once he has the individual in his grasp, he encourages the talent, nurturing it, all the while he shifts it into his direction, therefore the Federation’s favor. All while he has the leash.
He is a man who has his own tastes. Plenty of the time tastes as bitter as his soul it could be, perhaps like the coffee he drinks.
When not in missions and receiving orders, he spends plenty of spare time at the training area. It does include sparring with an unfortunate person who is the person of the day to bear the brunt of his brutal fighting.
Precision is one of the main parts of Rorke. As said in Call Of Duty: Devil’s Breath, he planned it out exactly how he was going to end his former team. First Ajax, then Elias. This plan he executed how he yearned for.
In his twisted, brainwashed mindset, he believes that he, alone, has the knowledge of truth. In the Rorke Files, he views his former nation as the enemy, in the way the nation is the obstacle to tear down to show the citizens the ‘truth’ of their reality.
His physical strength is something many dream of. In his captivity, he was able to sever the Artisan’s jaw - after the man was shot by Diego Almagro II.
After being brainwashed, revenge against his former teammates is perhaps the most supreme thing that has him going on. Serving the Federation as he was indoctrinated to do so kicks him on, but getting revenge is the higher fuel, deadlier and more emotional-driven.
No one alive touches his bandana. If you were to return it to him after finding it, he would let you off. But try it on, he will have your hide for this all. And there is no very high chance you can outrun the commander of the Federation.
