It's a short drabble of a goofy ship AU i am working on because thanks to @ani-action for giving me brainrot and i am a cheesy mother fucker that can't be contained in the FUCKING slightest /j
Instead of crushing on Yumi, William is crushing on Jeremie loool
Jeremie slammed the door to his room shut with a loud bang. He was crying, hurt and heartbroken.
How can they do this?

Jeremie turns to face the portrait drawing on his desk. A drawing of them (with William) that Odd had made to celebrate his birthday.
Jeremie was so hurt by what they had done.
His hand mindlessly moved to take out his phone. He wanted to move, to get away from this school.
*knock knock knock*
Gentle triple knocks woke him out of his trance.
“Come in.” Jeremie instinctively called out.
The door clicks open to reveal William. The raven-haired boy looks worried.
“Hey, is everything okay?” William asked. “I heard you slammed the door all the way from my room-”
“I… I'm okay… i'm okay, William.”
William walked over next to the blonde genius.
“Did your friend hurt you again?” William asked
Jeremie looked up at the raven-haired boy, surprised. He was really thoughtful and understanding.
Well, he had seen their arguments yesterday and in the cafeteria, but he didn’t expect William to understand his feelings.
William looked down, seeing the phone in his hands.
“What are you doing?”
“I was… ugh… I was about to call my dad.” Jeremie answered. “I thought about changing schools, to move away from… them… I can't take this anymore.”
William frowned, this made Jeremie feel… awful.
“I hope you are not mad at me. I know how much you cared about me”
William shook his head.
“I care more about your happiness first before my own.” William responded. “If it makes you happy, then I won't stop you. I was worried that they hurt you THAT much that you want to move away.”
Jeremie put more thought into it, as much as he wanted to leave, William’s presence brought him so much comfort. He cared for him, he loved him, he trusted him.
Leaving him will also mean leaving someone who actually cares about him.
Jeremie decided to go against it, for his better judgement.
William still thinks highly of him, even when the others did not.
Moreover, if he leaves, then who will help them fight against XANA?

Wait…
XANA…
Something clicks inside of Jeremie’s brain… How did Franz Hopper know that the diary was destroyed?
He shouldn’t have known that.
Jeremie stood up from his chair, leaving William confused. He reaches for his closet and opens up the briefcase of the, now destroyed, diary.
William simply stared in confusion, he had known about all of this when he became their secret keeper, but he must have never thought that it would and could be true-
Jeremie managed to pick up a hole in Franz Hopper’s argument.
“XANA…” He mumbled.
“What’s wrong?” William asked.
“XANA… it was behind all of their arguments…”
“Are you… sure?”
Jeremie nodded his head.
“I can’t explain it now… we have to go save them before it’s too late.”
William nodded in response. Jeremie quickly grabs his laptop and, with William in tow, rushes towards the factory.
