#coders needed

Me and my friend, Toni, are looking for artists and coders for our project, a Pokémon game/Forum site called Pokology. This will be volunteering, as we can’t. provide compensation.

Our site is supposed to be similar to Pokefarm, but focus more on the Pokémon themselves. The player is a research assistant for Dr. Driftwood, helping him research the Pokémon which have been slowly decaying, in some state of limbo. Fawmor is a new region and it needs to be studied.

FOR ARTISTS:

You will be given access to a spreadsheet of Pokemon that currently need art done. We are currently revamping what Pokémon will be done.

FOR CODERS:

The site requires Java, CSS, and HTML for coding, and PHP for server testing. You will be directed by Toni as to what to do.

WHAT IS URGE?

URGE (Otherwise known as Untitled Roblox Game/Experience) is a character driven, turn based RPG that sees you taking the perspective of a girl named Quyen Minh, as she travels through Robloxia looking for her lost brother. (As well as possibly getting caught up in stopping an evil scheme, or two.)

OBVIOUSLY kudos to games like block tales, forsaken and undertale for inspiration, although this is sort of supposed to be a love letter to the genre of rpgs in general. rpgs!!! my favorite genre!!!!

making the game work!!! hopefully there will be a small team of coders that can get things all sorted out umm. I'm not really sure what is needed so! things will be more thoroughly discussed when we actually. get ppl on. yeah

Musicians and Coders needed for Jacksepticeye fangame

our team is almost complete but we could use a few more people on music and some more to do the actual making of the game, which we’ll be using an rpg maker to create so it’s easier for everyone involved. If you’re at least interested in learning how to do it and work alongside those who do, pm me and let me know! 

Please keep in mind that you’ll need to have a discord since that’s where we’ll be operating from. Also since this is a fangame there will be no pay but you will get credit for whatever you contribute

SERIOUS QUESTION

How hard would it be to code up a functional Tumblr clone? It doesn’t have to be pretty (fewer visual bells and whistles would probably be a plus, better for the slow computers out there) but just the same degree of customization, the same methods of interaction, et al. 

I knew this day was coming from the moment that Tumblr was bought out by Verizon. If Tumblr’s going to stop fighting for Net Neutrality and start censoring LGBT+ content by default, it’s time to build our own.

Jacksepticeye fan game looking for team members!!

I’ve had the basic concept for this game in my mind for awhile and now I think it’s time to try and bring it into reality. I have a few friends on board but I could really use some more hands on deck, so I’m coming to tumblr for help

I’m going to need some more artists, people for music, and people willing to work on the actual game itself since I know next to nothing about the software, coding, or how to make games period

If you’re interested in helping with the project please dm me with what you’re interested in doing, what experience you have in it (if any), and if you’re applying for writer or artist some examples of what you can do.
