Leonard Cohen, 1970
I made prints on colored papers and I love them a lot!
The symbols are from the collection I created during my research of the SchUM region, they are from tombstones and synagogues of Speyer, Worms and Mainz.
«Sono le cose imperfette, le illusioni rammendate, i sogni sbriciolati nelle pozzanghere, i bicchieri spaiati, le finestre chiuse che si riaprono col vento; sono le cose imperfette, sai, che lasciano improvvisamente passare la luce.»
Leonard Cohen.
Sander Cohen and I have talked about doing a performance onstage with one of my little surgeries. Can you imagine? A face sculpting set to original music? The trouble is, of course—” He bent near his wild-eyed patient to whisper confidentially. “The trouble is, my dear, Sander Cohen is quite insane. Mad. Out of his mind! Ha ha-aa! I shouldn’t socialize with Cohen, that loony tune, I have my reputation to think of.”
