Waking Dream At Condre Hall Not far from my home in Huntington NY is an old medieval style mansion called Coindre Hall (West Neck Farm). Originally built by George McKesson Brown in 1912, Coindre Hall is a small 40 room, 80,000 square foot home sitting on 14 acres overlooking Huntington Harbor and the Huntington Lighthouse. Throughout its history it has been a Gold Coast mansion, a religious boarding school, county offices for The Huntington militia, a police force, the Huntington arts Council, A boarding school for students with learning disabilities and is now it’s leased out for weddings and other special events. There is also a gym and children my classes which is currently being used. At the bottom of the great lawn by the harbor is a boat house designed in the same style as the mansion. Both the mansion and the boat house I’ve seen better days but recently Suffolk County has put together a team of people to review its use and possibly rehabilitate the property. #coindrehall #huntington #huntingtonny #huntingtonharbor #harbor #b&w #blackandwhite #blackandwhitephotography #abstract #abstracts #abstractart #abstractphoto #modernart #art #contemporaryart #artwork #originalart #forest #woods #originalart #marcalter #marcfalter #Photographer #Photography #photo #Nature #YourShotPhotographer #liphotogallery #fotofoto_gallery #goandcapturethelight (at Huntington, New York) https://www.instagram.com/p/CAsHrhZgH9b/?igshid=5kf83axgfvee
