！ WANDERER; a headmate who holds, deals with, or helps cope with the feeling of wanderlust and the urge to run away.

A Wanderer may be more prone to wandering, or less prone than the rest of the system; it can go either way.

This term has the capability to be persecutory if the Wanderer has heavy tendencies to do so and get the system into some form of trouble, but it isn't typically persecutory-in-nature.

This term has been coined by cannibal-carnivore, credit if reposting.

A system or sisasystem that is in some way both polymind and median, whether it be because they can't decide between the two, some parts of the system in one and another part is the other or because they are simply just both.

✦ (Generalised) Pain-familiar

Generalised pain-familiar is an alter role similar to a pain-holder, but where one is specifically familiar with pain and able to nurse themselves and the system through it. They may be better at managing medication, better at detecting flare-ups, or more likely to rest.

✦ Hypermobility-familiar

Hypermobility-familiar is an alter role similar to a symptom holder, but where one is specifically familiar with pain and symptoms originating from hypermobility. They are capable of nursing themselves and others through it. They may also be better about putting braces on, managing medication or reducing movement during a flare-up.

Headache-familiar is a symptom-familiar alter role where one is familiar with headaches or migraines and are capable of nursing themselves and others through it. How they go about this may differ, they may record triggers more thoroughly, respond to them quicker, or practice them beyond flare-ups.

✦ Neuralgia-familiar

Neuralgia-familiar is an alter role where one is familiar with peripheral neuropathy/neuralgia, or small-fibre neuropathy, such as allodynia. This alter is capable of nursing themselves and others through it. Previous methods of managing flare-ups apply to this role to but the means of management may differ due to the nature of the symptoms.
