Real Talk for those with IBS
Cola Syrup is the best medicine you’ll find. For the last 3-4 years, I’ve been prescribed diphenoxylate and dicyclomine for IBS and the abdominal cramps that come with it. I got used to being in pain on a daily basis. I had a particularly bad flare up at the beginning of July, and had to take those medications most days when I used to only have to use them once a week or so. And even on the days I took them, they didn’t always help. I’ve been sent home from work for three or four days in the last month and a half because of IBS.
Somehow I’ve forgotten about this for years, but my mother used to give me cola syrup with crushed ice whenever I had an upset stomach as a kid. I remembered that it always helped. Always. So, I purchased some Cola Syrup, and I’ve been using it for the last couple weeks. I’ve only had to take the anti-diarrheal medicine once since then, and the anti-spasmodic not at all.
I generally only need the syrup once a day, sometimes twice. Just a cap-and-a-half full of it with a few ice cubes. Sip it slowly, and it stops all the pain. Sometimes it’s even gotten rid of the diarrhea. It has made my life SO MUCH better over the last couple weeks.
So, if you have IBS, please give Cola Syrup a try. It doesn’t matter what brand you get, it should work. And it doesn’t take much to work. It also tastes good!
